BioWare wanted an extra year to finish ME3, EA didn't want to give them more than 3 months because of money (what a surprise no?). Casey Hudson and the other people at EAWare who really do want to make good games obviously weren't happy with this and were extremely unhappy with how the game turned out in the end, despite of the PR statements they were forced to make earlier...

Obviously EA doesn't want this confirmed by Casey, hence the leash....

You could be on to something there, it's entirely possible the ending was forced cos of EA.

They're just choosing not to interact with 'fans' online because they'll get bashed no matter what they say. That, and any statement from them would just fan the embers of a controversy that is now mostly dead.

That some people would actually think they are living in seclusion is pretty laughable. I mean lets be real for a second...they created an ending to a video game. Games are not that important. Not having a Twitter account also  isn't quite the same thing as hiding out in a one room shack in the middle of the Yukon.

EA rushed this game out the door and ruined the Mass Effect trilogy.  Remember that the next time you get the impulse to buy a game made by EA.  I wouldn't support them if you are upset.  Heck, I wouldn't support them even if you aren't upset because they're sure to do something down the line that's going to ****** you off, just wait.

Boycotts don't work, as they will just shut down BioWare and we don't want that. We want BioWare just to have nice friendly criticism instead of boycotts.

I'm glad the first fan who recongizes him was nice to him, people are little ****es on the internet. I'm no fan of the endings, but there is constructive feedback/criticism, then there is being an ass.

To be fair, some people say some pretty mean thigns. There is contstructive feedback and then there is ad hominem.

I can absolutely believe it, too. It's not like BioWare just suddenly forgot how to make good games. If ME3 had been scheduled for a Holiday 2012 release instead of the initial Holiday 2011 (which was insane!) date, perhaps the team would have had enough time to make the game they really wanted to make.
