Hi,

I feel stupid for asking this, but how on Earth do you use bbcode or any sort of markup in user group forum posts? I know it's possible since I've seen others use colour, dashed-line quote boxes, and insert links.

When I post in regular forums, it seems to work just fine. However, the markup appears unprocessed in group forum posts.
Here, I can insert links and change colours without using the text editor's colour menu. But I've been banging my head against the wall on doing it in a group forum post, where it would be exceedingly useful.

Thanks.

P.S., I've searched and all I can find on BBCode here are two posts from a while back. And the site FAQ doesn't help much either.

The exact same way, however, mind that for some tags (e.g. URL) you must refresh a page if editing a post.

Huh, you're right. I should have reloaded, but I'm used to only doing that to see an edit appear, not see an edit have the markup tags actually applied instead of being shown literally as if they were ignored - at least I still have to reload to see colour tags applied instead of seeing something like {color=red}this is red{/color}... but I guess it's since that part's all client side.

Thanks.
