http://www.ign.com/a...an-dlc-review-2
please note
There’s nothing character-driven in Leviathan that connects with your crew or friendly characters, nothing compelling you to kill the cannon fodder. It’s hard – or worse, forgettable – to fight for characters you probably won’t really care about.
and
The dialogue added at the end (about 30 seconds' worth) just isn’t as impactful if you’ve completed the game multiple times, because you still know how it all ends. That could be a problem with this DLC, and all future story-driven DLC for that matter. When you know the outcome, it’s hard to go back just to hear one more story told by “the Shepard”.
hey Bioware IGN might be finally smartening up but you still have your art guys
god this is all so depressing
so...now ign is disappointed too.....?

No, the difference is IGN is no longer getting add money from ME3, so they're being honest now...

As others have said, looks like IGN didn't get their cut.

Because of all the allers hate, they turned against bioware for creating such a god-awful character.

People who are not as invested into a story as others, and some because of this will be less scrutinizing of a setting. At the same time they will be harder to please in terms of getting them to come back to the world. I think it is just a reflection of the review process TBQH.

I thought Leviathan was as good (at least) as pretty much any segment in the second half of ME3. So it's a bit odd that they say the game is the greatest game ever and then start picking holes in the DLC. But then it is IGN......

Allers will probably get new lines for the next one so they get a positive review.

On the second point I agree the impact on the rest of the game was pretty much non-existant.
But I liked the atmosphere of the dlc.
The mining facility(even if shep seemed pretty stupid), the lab searching for clues, the remarks about the basilisk and things like that. Also the underwater section including the meeting was pretty nice. And cared more about ann bryson than about the stupid child of the main game.
For me it was worth the 8 euro.

In there defense, the one we all hate is a man named Colin Moriarty or as I call him, Pity Party Moriarty. He's the one who made the backlash swing into full gear.
He didn't write this review, but he wrote the original.

This is HILARIOUS.
As a general ITer, I actually find the original ending of ME3 still rather unfulfilling.
But I LOVE Leviathan. It is VERY interesting to me and I can't wait to see what else they come up with.

Bioware wouldn't let Colin Moriarty star in it so IGN got mad

Ign just changes their opinions to get hits. They lack integrity.

Don't give them hits, they're talking with EA on the phone right now about how they're playing everyone.

Ign just changes their opinions to get hits. They lack integrity. Ign just says whatever they think fans want to hear. My farts are worth more than their opinions. I stopped paying attention to anything me3 related from ign after colin moriarty's ending rant.
