7.5 is right on good. another .1 lower and it would've fallen into mediocrity.
It only seems like a mediocre score because it's coming from IGN.

It depends where it is from, I don't follow IGN so have no idea how they rate. On Gamespot anything less than 7.5 for a triple A release basically means that it either doesn't work. has some enormous problems or is downright terrible (they gave Fallout New Vegas a 7.5 on release despite noting the minor detail that it didn't work) and they gave Leviathan a 6.0. Pretty much this. 7.5 is good on most scales, IGN typically dishes out much higher for really good games (or paid reviews) or much lower for bad games, or publishers that didn't pay them.
