IGN likes the ending and defended Bioware but dislikes Levi? *massive headdesk*

They Gave it a Passing Score.

Why do you give a ****???

Honestly you're sitting here decrying everyone's opinion as wrong waving that 7.5 like its the new gospel.

Read the freaking review. The guy said it succeeds in X, Fails in Y and will have a tough time because of Z.

The written word puts the DLC as average. IGN gives everything a 9. something something.

Arrival is rated 7.0 as you mentioned and is widely considered the WORST DLC of ME2 for Leviathan to score a .5 above it is not much when held up to the standard of Shadow Broker and Overlord, which recieved a 9. something and a 8. respectively.

But out of all this the most baffling thing is why you give a rats ass.

You enjoyed it, whoop dee freakin do. Most people here interpret this review as  IGN expressing dissapointment in aspects of this DLC, they're not wrong.

They're also primarilly debating why the change of tone from IGN's unlimited praise and defense of anything and everything ME3 related a few months ago to suddenly nitpicking a huge DLC like they took a surgery class. Giving it a 7.5 when they gave ME3, original endings and all 9.7 I believe.

So again, in this whole thing what vested interest do you have?

Either we're right, and this whole thing was mediocre/IGN is starting to tell the truth with no more money coming in. Or we're wrong in which case you can rest easy?

Sooooooyeah. Why are you even bothering with this???

The issue is they got several things wrong in their review, the biggest being the length of the end dialog. Unless they are talking about the debriefing with Hackett that was fail.

Chobot wasn't in it either.

From what I understand someone at IGN was up to play the Leviathan-ok, not really.

Even if I agree that the DLC's story was very meh and not even near the quality of LotSB, since LotSB didn't try to insult me with some incredibly lame and nonsensical background story (quirky dialogues and new environments won't solve everything), that's really credible for a site that was blindly defending everything BioWare just a few months ago.

Stay classy, IGN.

Bioware wouldn't let Colin Moriarty star in it so IGN got mad :(

Colin Moriarty?  You mean the pimp from Megaton in Fallout 3?  I think that would be Bethesda's call.

Sorry, but EA doesn't buy reviews.

Why do EA games, many of them hyped, get low scores?

Medal of Honor was very hyped, but look at the review scores of that game. It dropped EA's stock.

Just face facts, reviewers LIKED MASS EFFECT 3!!!!!! Get over it.

This review rips on Bioware's strong suit. Essentially, if you're in this for emotional/character attachment, forget it.

This isn't that kind of DLC....Omega will be, but not this one.

Just look up Jeff Gerstmann for an example of how much influence a publisher has on reviews.

There you go. That's still one of the lamest things ever done in the "gaming journalism" industry. Of course, this industry itself is a joke.
