Many of us that are familiar with narrative appeal have been saying this since launch: there has to be a palpable benefit to DLC, and generally that benefit comes- in a game like ME- by adjusting the story-driven experience in a favorable manner. Seeing as ME3 is "The End of Commander Shepard's Story", that adjustment is best placed  AT the end.

On topic:

I actually kind of enjoyed Leviathan simply because of the ending. That info about the Reapers made for the countless "let's go back to the lab moments" and "oh, I can't tell an indoctrinated human from one that's...not indoctrinated even though I've been fighting them for years" moments that kept occurring.

Having said that, I don't like it enough to spend money on it. It doesn't matter to me that my shephard never spoke to Leviathan. He's already dead. I'm not resurrecting him just to do a 10 dollar mission and kill him off again.
