Arishok Duel Glitch

I'm replaying DA2 and got to the end of Act 2 with no glitches whatsoever, but for some reason after I kill the Arishok he just gets back up. But I can't kill him again or even attack him and I'm left just wondering around the throne room with the Arishok trying to attack me. It's happened three times now.
