Thanks to the fans like yourself, the rest of us are screwed.  No matter how bad you are treated or bad the actual game or dlc will be you will still buy it, and Bioware will keep soving out mediocricy.  So thank you.

Sad to say, but this sentiment doesn't just apply to ME3, i can list a number of series that have been turned into mere shadows of their former selves because people were willing to fork out for substandard games with little to no originality left in them.

Source or it didn't happen.

Also I couldn't care less about more DLC for this game. Unless they actually fix the ending of the game and I mean really fix it not the crappy EC that they put out then they get nothing from me. Nothing at all and I mean that with every fiber of my being. There are other games out there that I'll spend my hard earned money on.

"oh we want you to fix this game! So we will kill your sales so you can fix this game instead of ending it because you aren't making money!" Is as logical as 'we made robots to stop you from making robots that'll kill you by killing you'

Of course I posted just from the basis of this corner of the internet.  Not every mass Effect fan posts on BSN and not everyone on BSN hates Mass Effect 3 with a scary psychological issues vengence.   Some of us like the game, want more, and yes, will blame you if we don't get more.

ME3 'hater': I don't like parts of  the game. Bioware, please fix it?!

You: You're a vocal minority of entitled whiners who don't respect Bioware's art etc.

ME3 'hater': Even after EC I still think things are fundamentally wrong. Change them, please?!

You: You're selfish for demanding BW to change they're ending. You don't like it - move on!! We're happy!!

*Leviathan DLC*

ME3 'hater': Okay, this doesn't really impress me and it doesn't address my gripes with the game. No purchase - time to move on...!

You: How dare you, the unhappy minority, selfishly ruin my beloved game by not giving anything ME3 your full financial support!?!

I think this is reading too much into a benign statement. Although basing future DLC plans on the success of just ONE SP DLC is a bit...premature? I'd probably recommend looking at what factors influenced the sales and go from there (e.g. why did it fail or why did it succeed? what were fans looking for that they did or didn't get?)

I bought a few extra copies for my friends who were on the fence, so I did my part. Depending on where you stand on the matter, that'll obviously mean two different things.

#3 behind Minecraft and a popular download-only game series is solid, btw.

I always choose blue. I like blue. BLue is awesome because LOL She's the GOddess of Reapers now.

OF course sometimes I decide to just shoot the stupid talking flashlight kid. Because honestly, and here's where I agree with the anti ending people.  What the frakk with starchild bioware? I enjoy the game but I still have issues with it.

If there's no more content for the ME2 character, then it will be a DLC I'll watch on youtube.

None of these are safe assumptions, and many are simply wrong. The fans are a collective of many separate, often contradictory, individuals. The differences in fan grievances was already demonstrated by the Extended Cut, which fractured the Hold the Line movement as many people were appeased and dropped their complaints. The differences in fan desires is apparent when you simply begin to survey what various sub-groups want: Conventional Victory DLC, Totally Rewrite The Crucible Out of the Game DLC, Change a Particular Ending in the Ending DLC, Romance DLC, Omega DLC, or the many differing opinions of 'what would fix the game best'.

I'd add Reunion DLC to that taxonomy. it shouldn't be lumped in with "change" because it wouldn't be a change, except for folks with a bizarre interpretation of the Destroy ending.

In retrospect, ME2 was a horrible mistake. So many characters who may or may not be around for the sequel means a terrible resource sink.

Levvy makes his appearance a bit less contrived, he's got some actual build up now.Though I find the very a of him even being there to being with a poorly concieved idea.

I don't really see how, pretty much everyone who buys leviathan I'm assuming already beat ME3, it's not like it's legitimate foreshadowing since we already know about the ending.

Just because you try to shore up a contrived idea a few months after it's introduced doesn't make the idea any better.

Leviathan had more super cool awesome content in it than a takeaway meal [that costs the same].

Did anyone think they were going to change combat to be amazinglyd ifferent?

Why is that even a complaint? Did people complain about combat in LOTSB being roughly the same but with "Boss" battles?

I dont get the complaints about the combat honestly...

Hey Patrick Weekes,

good news man. I watched the whole Leviathan DLC on youtube. And guess what, I didn't pay a single dime.
