If you get sent to Fort Drakon after rescuaning Queen Anora you will see the body's of both Ser Gilmore and Mother Mallol on the wooden platform thing in the room you are first caged in.  You see them first in the cinamatic where it pans over you your cell then if you run down the stairs in the room and look at the two bodys up on the platform it is them.  I actualy got sad and wanted to go back and kill Howe again seeing this...

Well, there is the possibility that he survives, because when you gather your troops for the final battle he can be seen there: http://images2.wikia.../07/Gilmore.jpg

Oh, how sad it is. I was wondering what happened to them, but then shocked to discover both were tortured and dead.

well it would seem that there are a limited amount of facial or head shots thereby resulting in this and why would Howe bring bring them all the way back to denerim? Its not like they have any secret information he would be after. Besides gilmore cant be dead in one scene and alive in another so it is just head shot similarity. I think if either were alive you would have some opportunity for diaglogue or cinematics at end game.

So they were dragged for miles just to be tortured to death... makes sense...

Well, keep in mind Howe is a disturbed, psychotic old little man. Or should I say, WAS a disturbed, psychotic old little man. Since.. you know, he's now dead and all.

I don't think that could be Ser Gilmore. He died months ago. He was defending the gate and I don't think Howe's men would let him live and Ser Gilmore would never surrender.
His body can never look that *good* after so many months.

yah uh..that's not him.  it's older and scruffier looking...not gonna play the origin just to ge a screen to show a comparison but that's certainly not him.  Gilmore has a "softer" face...and no the time that's passed since you last saw him is NOT a reason for this new "look"...no one else get's a "harder" look to them..not even Fergus who was lost in the wilds for the entire time.

try again.

didn't see when I typed..this proves my point...there's a lot of similar looking random NPCs..and that pic posted of the guy in the army before final battle is DEFINATELY not him...as this pic proves.

I'm not talking about a harder look. He died months ago so you shouldn't even be able to recognise his corpse.

Yeah, he's dead long before you could possibly see his body in one whole not decaying piece. And besides, Howe's men killed even children, why would they spare a knight strong enough to kill some of them?

yah uh..that's all fine and good but..your post isn't the one I linked..if you follow that pic link it shows a guy alive..that has similar "look" to gilmore but is obviously not him...

and it doesn't look like he was killed months ago either per the pic posted as PROOF..from when you're captured by Ser Cauthrian(sp)

so again i don't see why you responded that way to my post directed at someone else

I've come across this before... I think it's weird you as human noble can't interact with those corpses if they are indeed ser Gilmore and mother Millow. I mean: you should be able to recognise them when you're in Fort Draken. These corpses got all (fresh?) blood on them, so they aren;t dead for a long time. So I actually hope they are just random npc's and not those from the Human Noble origin... Still got some hope of an official return of Ser Gilmore. *puppy eyes*

Regarding the two bodies - if it was just one, I'd say it was coincidence. But for the pair of them to be there in plain sight. Well it makes me think they were both captured and tortured for a while. Compare the screenshot of Mother Mallol and the corpse screenshot. They look almost the same.

The 'they'd been dead for months' argument doesn't necessarily follow, as they could just as easily have been captured as killed.
