But it's only complex as back story. The events of the last fore games will always of happend for someone playing Skyrim weather or not they played the those games, Uriel Septim will always of been saved from Oblivion, the Hero of Kvatch will always become Sheogorath. These things are written in stone for everyone and they're written exactly and only ever told in the most static way. Mass Effect is far more complex because what you do can effect the next two games, Wrex can either be alive or dead, Shep could of been eithe a nice guy to people or a total psycho ****.

Well that is the charm of the ES series. You can play in the world, immerse yourself in it, get lost in the lore and know that in the next series you dont have to worry about 50 different iterations of the lore. You know in ES that the lore is going to be what it needs to be to make the story great(for those who want to look for it).

ME I dont play it to get lost in a world, I played it because it was a scifi story with a great setting, but light on the lore. I played it to see all the changes I made along the way as well. However, all the variables were never what drew me to ME at all. They could take away all the major choices and only leave me with a ton of small ones, and I would have been perfectly happy with the ME games. I played ME to play a story in an interesting setting.

Hell, I think a lot of the choices they gave us got in the way of the story to the point of breaking it down to making the plot points that you chose being incredibly marginalized. And I dont blame them for marginalizing the plot points(or at least not showing any real pay off) because the amount of major choices they let us make gave to many variables to the story.

Even still, ME by enlarge was a draw for me because of the gameplay and the story setting. What you found most appealing about ME, I found to be the most restricting thing about it. The only choices I needed to make in the ME series to be happy, were choices that effected me and my crew.

Please, PLEASE check your facts again. The Reapers take massive (for them) casualties before the Krogans get involved. Just look a couple of entries up from the "Miracle".

Actually the choices in Mass Effect are only part of what I enjoy about it. I also enjoy good space epic, fun and engaging characters, and a universe steeped in lore (the ME lore is quite deep, though maybe not to the depths of TES and WoW). I can get just as lost in The Elder Scrolls just asmucj as I can Mass Effect, though for different reasons; When I play Mass Effect I get lost in the story and the Characters, that way I am Commander Shepard. When I play TES I get lost in the world and the exploration, that way I am thee CoC or the Dovahkiin.

NOT the Miracle for Palaven. Read about the initial battle you silly goose. Here, I'll post it for you:

The Battle of Palaven data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIABAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAEALAAAAAABAAEAQAICTAEAOw%3D%3DEdit
When Taetrus fell, the turians knew little about the Reapers except
that they wanted to enrage the turians. Staying calm, the turians massed
force around Palaven,
their homeworld. Fleet Admiral Irix Coronati, in what became known as
the "Fifteen-Minute Plan," stationed only two carriers, Undaunted and
Resolute, near the system's relay. When the Reaper fleet emerged, the
carriers launched swarms of unmanned fighters and spy drones. These were
quickly destroyed, but the drones transmitted vital data on the
Reapers' effective range, fleet composition, and exact location. The
turians' other ships then deployed to defend the system in earnest.
Knowing that the Reapers' weapons had a longer effective range
than any of his own, Coronati made a short, daring FTL jump--landing his
dreadnoughts in the middle of the Reaper fleet. The dreadnoughts then
turned to line up their main guns on the Reapers, which also needed to
turn to fire on the turians. This ploy used the Reapers' size against
them--because they could turn faster, and their concentrated firepower
downed several Reaper capital ships.
The Reapers countered instantly. Their destroyers performed a
jump of their own to the skies above Palaven, beginning orbital strikes
of turian cities. The turians, forced to defend the planet, found
themselves in a pitched battle far from the relay, from which emerged a
seemingly endless line of Reaper ships. After massive casualties,
Coronati ordered retreat.
The turians insist that Palaven is not lost--the battle has
merely moved to the ground. Reaper troop transports have dumped hordes
of husk to capture Palaven's inhabitants, but met with little success.
Reaper capital ships are destroying city after city. But much of the
turian fleet is still operable, and the citizenry is heavily armed. The
turians refuse to be intimidated.

Or better yet, a fourth ending with a ball. Kicking the ball into the goal turns everyone and everything into dinosaurs.

Mounted combat in Skyrim is annoying as hell though, especially with bows and arrows. :/

Yeah, 'cause Elder Scrolls games are released every year and are completely identical to each other

The latter part of your sentence is pretty spot on.

I would love it if were identical to Morrowind.

At no cost, not even adveticed as 'free DLC' but just released in a patch.

It's like 'Hey, we heard you guys wanted mounted combat in our games. Here's a patch that fixes that. Now you can fight on horseback.'

Does Bioware and EA look at this example, look at their piles of money and then just burst laughing?

No, EA / BioWare says thing like
"Hey, we saw you lacked closure after ME3 was over. Here's a 2 GB free DLC that addresses that and expands upon it"
"Oh, and here's the score to it, too - just download it"
"Of course, you can have the score to Leviathan, here"
"We saw you like the ME3 MP, here is a free DLC with new characters, maps and weapons"
"We saw you liked our free ME3 MP DLC, so here is another one, free. With new maps, characters, weapons, gear and objectives"
"Man, you really liked the two free MP DLCs, so how 'bout that - here you have another one! Three new maps now, and more gear, weapons and characters. We also added another new objective, since, you know you asked for it"

You guys are aware that Bethesda has done questionable business practices itself, right?

Stop trying to put publishers in black and white categories, because I can assure you, every publisher has their dirty laundry and terrible business practices.
