Most things Bethesda adds were already in user mods.

Bethesda games even tend to get .EXE/.DLL modded into the 21st century by elite hobbyist programmers (hackers) who - as in Oblivion - add new combat moves, including finishing moves such as decapitation, wrist amputation, et cetera, et cetera.

They also modify the graphics engine to provide better lighting effects, longer-range views, even modding HDR graphics into a game that was never designed to support it.  I used such a tool to increase the visual distance of Morrowind to ALL THE WAY ACROSS THE ISLAND.  The game never felt so small.

You guys are aware that Bethesda has done questionable business practices itself, right?

Stop trying to put publishers in black and white categories, because I can assure you, every publisher has their dirty laundry and terrible business practices.

Pretty much. Even Valve, who are constantly thought of as the white knight of the gaming industry are pretty evil sometimes.

I was hoping for a BF3: Project Reality. Sadly EA can't allow modding, else it'd get in the way of selling DLC....or something....

At least they didn't cut content and sell it as Day 1 DLC. So I'm good with them so far.

Oh alright,

How about you go look up a list of bugs in Skyrim, a list of bugs that are TO THIS DAY unfixed in previous Bethesda games, a list of touted features for Skyrim that mysteriously never appeared, a documentation of your typical PS3 Gamer's experience with Skyrim, and twelve million other ****ing things before you come on here and act like Bioware is so much worse then them, hmkay?

Seriously... people **** about Bioware fans being the worst? No, you Bethesda drones are a sycophantic blight on gaming. It hurts the most because I used to be one.

Honestly, Skyrim has so many bugs on consoles because it's engine was designed to realy shine on PCs. It is the same with most Bethesda games: lots of bugs and glitches, but after a months of player testing the product becomes mostly stable. Not to mention that Bethesda allows user mods on its RPGs and almost invariably makes an interesting and somewhat believeable story (ie. no plot holes the size of an entire flock of dragons in most cases...................).

You know what doesn't have much Glitches and is a very good RPG? Demons Souls and Dark Souls.

I'm just asking a very simple question.

I'm good by the way. Very good.

Umm what?  Can you really not see that peopel were trying to compare ME3's development team to the Elder Scroll team and by extension quality control of the 2?  Or are you just white knighting?

It isn't, but a lot of threads aren't; Ninja Stan isn't on, so it won't get locked yet.

Not sure how your last thread was more ME3-story related than this, but RaenImrahl decided to keep it open until Ninja Stan locked it.

At no cost, not even adveticed as 'free DLC' but just released in a patch.

It's like 'Hey, we heard you guys wanted mounted combat in our games. Here's a patch that fixes that. Now you can fight on horseback.'

Does Bioware and EA look at this example, look at their piles of money and then just burst laughing?

No, EA / BioWare says thing like
"Hey, we saw you lacked closure after ME3 was over. Here's a 2 GB free DLC that addresses that and expands upon it"
"Oh, and here's the score to it, too - just download it"
"Of course, you can have the score to Leviathan, here"
"We saw you like the ME3 MP, here is a free DLC with new characters, maps and weapons"
"We saw you liked our free ME3 MP DLC, so here is another one, free. With new maps, characters, weapons, gear and objectives"
"Man, you really liked the two free MP DLCs, so how 'bout that - here you have another one! Three new maps now, and more gear, weapons and characters. We also added another new objective, since, you know you asked for it"

lol.

*im laughing at you, not with you*

Well, then - joke's on you, I'm afraid.

Well, I guess this thread isn't ME3 story related then. I guess I'll just have to report it then.
