The first XIII game was -so-boring. (I have played every FF from FFVIII), so I did not bother to buy the second one. Should I buy it? Apparently I´ve read somewhere the story is "stupid", but the gameplay is good. What should I do?

As for you, Friera, you should. People say that XIII-2 addressed many of the gameplay problems of XIII. I personally loved XIII, but anyway that's what they say.

I have to say, I'm not sure about that.
If that's really the opening cinematic...I sure hope they'll explain later HOW exactly Light and Hope met up, and what caused him to help her, and why Hope and Snow aren't..."friends" anymore, and why Snow is the Mafia Don to a seedy joint. Is this VII? lol.

Yeah, I'd imagine they're going with an "in medias res" approach to the story if this is truly the opening. They'd also have to explain how Snow knows Lumina (which was actualy news to me).

More direct control battle system, clothes customization, and open areas. Doesn't look like the Final Fantasy XIII game I'm used to seeing with its linear corridor map design and lack of towns.

FFXIII-3 is different for sure but I love Lighting as a character and want to see the story be completed. It's literally the only game I've pre-ordered in a long time. It will be sad when it all ends though so I'm fine having to wait a few more months for it to come out.

She does look a lot hotter now wolfhowll than she did in the first game. I just love that voice, the VA was an excellent choice for her character imo.
