It looks like another generic hack-o-slasho-button-o-masho, but Kingdom Hearts 3 is definitely something I'm looking towards even if the plot took a turn at 72nd Retard-Bonkers-Street.

The combat gets much more engaging as you progress. Admittedly, it does take a long time for the game to allow you to use every facet of the system, but once you get the the more open part of  the game, the battles become challenging and often times very rewarding. Like, when I finally killed the Neochu I contemplated throwing away my habit of blaming all my failures in that game on Vanille. I was that hyped. 

But yeah, until then, I'd say focus on the story. The first XIII makes no bones about being totally story driven. XIII-2 is a little more open, and now XIII-3 is an actual open world.

I have to get back to playing XIII. I had it on hold for more than a year. Going to restart for the fun of it (I doubt I'll have another chance to defeat Barthandelus on the first try). Been busy playing other games like Mass Effect and Uncharted. Currently playing the Assassin's Creed games right now, but I'll restart XIII whenever I can.

That doomsday clock annoys me, but I managed to play 10 hours and I'm still on day 1, thanks to Chronostasis.

Chronostasis is the best thing since soda.

You can finish the yusnan main quest and one of wilderness' main quests in the 1st night. Luxerion has those damn inscriptions that only show up the next day ¬¬ You can also go for Dead Dunes but I leave the best for last

You will never get to try the "Claire Farron" challenge. Nor will you have Snow wishing his "future brother-in-law" luck.

You will never get the chance to see Lightning tell you to shut up in while looking away in embarrassment because you said she looked nice in whatever she wore or just because she looked pretty that day or something.

You will never find out if she uses strawberry scented shampoo to match her hair color.

You will never get that rare chance to make her smile at you for just being you.

She's not real BSN.

What a terrible Lightning-less Valentine's Day this is.

Sorry for the double-post, but I'm done with the main questlines and I finished the game. Starting a new game plus soon. LR's more addictive than I thought it would be.
