I love the "keep buying the stuff you dont want so they can keep making stuff you dont want" pitch

It's actually a little more self-serving than that in that people are requesting that those who dont want to support the game with their money do so against their better judgement so those who somehow managed to make sense of it can enjoy their new content. Thanks but no thanks.

They need to be taught a lesson.  If I give them my money, then they will continue to release the same crap.  Give them money or not, either way they wont change the ending.  After the way I have been treated, they don't deserve a penny of my hard earned money.  Screw them.

This.

Financial pain and a few dozen forced layoffs due to reduced revenue won't kill them, but it will make them reconsider how much their "artistic integrity" is worth

Don't worry they are doing it to the BattleField people too. :bandit:  I had hope for that franchise. Not anymore. But I'll keep trying to push Bioware and keep asking them for a victory and reunion DLC. Because everyone will love Bioware for it. I want this for bioware. <3  Not this :bandit:

My favourite games ever include Planescape Torment, Baldur's Gate, Dragon Age Origins and the Fallout series.

Very few shooters hold any interest for me, and only ones with a solid story behind them.

BioWare have made it abundantly clear that they no longer care about roleplayers, and are no longer capable of telling a good story, or even telling the difference between a good story and a bad one.

I am no longer their target audience.

I didn't give up on BioWare. They gave up on me.

I'm fine with them cutting their losses and running. It'll prevent them from ruining the series further. Mercy kill it.

You're kidding. Come on now, you think Bioware, even if they wanted to, would be allowed to change the endings if people keep throwing money at them? Instead of just, you know, taking the money and moving on? The game itself was mediocre: I and many others would rather not keep supporting them. I don't really care too much about ME 3 anymore, I've moved on, and no longer want to spend my money on this product. If you think buying these DLCs are going to prove to them that they should change the endings or whatever, then you're just wasting your money.

As long as EA owns Bioware I don't think there is anything they can do that will make me love Bioware again.  I hate feeling this way, Bioware games used to be an automatic buy, but I refuse to give money to a company that has ruined so many smaller companies.

Bad logic. If someone puts out subpar work, you are to continue throwing money at them until they get better? Idiotic logic.

Indeed.
Hold the wallet. Open the wallet. I don't care.
If it interest me I'll buy it. If it don't, well then I don't buy it.

It's quite simple. I'm not here to do charity.
I didn't buy Leviathan because I didn't find it interesting. And I'm not going to buy something that I do not find interesting for the sake of supporting a company to release more stuff that i'm not interested in.

Remember at the end of ME3, after stargazer scene.....what did bioware and its staff ask us to do? instead of thanking it's fans for sticking buy there product, they artisticly told us with integrity to buy there dlc even tho the trilogy had ended..................i'll never forget that moment of pure anger whilst reading that bloody box! The Game was bad, the ending was worse but for me that was just damn right rude. They gave up not it's fans

I feel like we'd probably all be billionaires if we put this much effort into anything other than complaining.

If you're upset, that's great and all, but why don't you just say that and move on? Do you really need to come back on a daily basis and rant about how upset you are? I mean, 15 pages? Really?

C'mon you guys. This is getting out of hand.

Trust me. I understand how you feel. I literally want to cry from the thought. I've had a hell of a time with this. The only thing EA is doing right now is The Sims. The only thing that is going to keep EA a float right now is Their sports games and Sims. Those two franchises is what is making EA money. Without those two they would be dead.

The Battle Field franchise! We'll they are pissing them off already. Especially after Dice said they wouldn't come out with a yearly game. :bandit:

They lied!

I want my RPG back. I want to hold the idea of roleplaying and story together and I will hold them up for it. Kingdom's of Amaluer was great. It was made by EA, but I don't know if EA is willing to do this.

I feel Bioware might just give us an additional ending. i don't want to see them fail. I don't want to see them fired, but I want to see Shepard with the crew alive and well and maybe a vacation or two. <3

Sad news m8 they closed down the studio that made KoA about 2 months after it was released even though it made money.

EA just doesn't like RPG's....or gamers apparently.

Almost 2 million copies sold below the break even point is hardly "made money". It made less money than Schilling borrowed to put out the game.

Really? I stand corrected.

Still the sad news still stands...I thought it was a good (although not great) game.

You know? I did the whole support Bioware on blind faith and optimism on both DA2 and ME3 plus the EC. At this point my wallet stays closed. I seriously just don't care. It's simple business, their product is not worth my money. I don't hate the people involved in the ME3 team but whatever happens is purely business. If they succeed in finding a market for their mediocre product more power to them. If their company closes down because they didn't hit their market target? Well, then they should have listended to the fans instead of gotten cocky and proud with them.

Either way, just doesn't matter anymore. Their fate is in their hands.
