Because at the end of the day, they hold all the cards.

And we hold all the money.

Usually, if one is dissatisfied with a developer, one withholds one's money until said developer starts producing quality work worthy of being bought again. Buying on blind faith is the worst thing one can do.

Once ME3 is really finished. I agree.

It is. And buying DLC on blind faith is not only stupid but most unresponsible.

Omega being in production disproves your claim.

Disproves what claim? Well it certainly disproves some peoples lack of selfcontrol. Keep forking that money over to Bioware, I'm sure they'll learn their lesson everytime you buy DLC and CE.

Omega in production disproves your claim that ME3 is finished. And don't start attacking me about my self-control, that has nothing to do with it! I love Mass Effect so I'm going to pay for more content, if somehow they change the endings through dlc, then I'm happy because I can keep supporting them in their future products. If they don't. Then at least I was along for the ride and didn't just sit here ****ing b****ing about it.

Also, if this was their plan all along, then they have no reason to apologise. You have to think how you will look back on this whole thing even if they do fix the endings. The gaming media will have a frenzy over the s*** this fanbase has said and done to BioWare.

And Omega does what for the game? More stuff that won't matter in the end, except squeezing every penny out of the die hard fans. Oh snap, I get to hear Aria say "Don't **** with me" take my money please Bioware. I don't care about Omega, the only thing I cared about was feeling like a boss after ending a game series I cared so much about, and what me and many others got was a slap in the face and being later told, that we could stick our whining where the sun doesn't shine, cause changing the game would go against their "artistic integrity".

The gaming media today consists of paid off journalists that won't ever say anything negative about big budget AAA games, cause they know they'll lose their precious early access.

If a company screws up once, big deal. Twice, hmmm ok.. well, third time they'll get it right.
Thrice? Ok screw this, I ain't giving them my money to them. They're just ONE gaming company out in the big world, yeah the games that were great were awesome, but that doesn't mean I'm a blind, see no evil, hear no evil fan that will keep forking over my money, hoping that they might change.

Another poster made an excellent analogy about a wife who won't leave her husband, despite him beating the crap out of her, cause he might change. He might listen to her and so on.

You might love Bioware, and they certainly love you too, but not for the reasons you think they do.

Please shut up about that. They obviously added new endings after this fact so that's just SO very old news...

Also, you don't know that Omega wont have any impact. Stop being impatient and negative.

Well that's your opinion. in MY opinion. ME3 was their first screw up. Yes, I liked DA2, sue me.

Another poster made an excellent analogy about a wife who won't leave her husband, despite him beating the crap out of her, cause he might change. He might listen to her and so on.

That's so messed up, shame. Seriously if you're so sure about how you feel about this company, why are you here?

You might love Bioware, and they certainly love you too, but not for the reasons you think they do.

I don't love them, for them to get my love back they need to give Shepard more love. But they have my trust that they'll turn it around. It would be business suicide not too.

Once again, you're seeing things in black and white. Open your eyes and experience the colours of the world!

Just because someone doesn't sit on their forums ****ing about them in every post, doesn't mean they white-knight them.

Nope.

If you don't think the gaming press are paid off then that's on you.

I liked DA 2, what I didn't like was the rehash of every zone, it made the game feel cheap and not worth the full price. ToR sucked and ME3 ended on a downer ending. That's three strikes already, not to mention the day one DLC.

I'm here hoping they'll man up and just flat out say "Look, we're sorry we screwed up the ending. We learned our lesson and won't do it again." All it takes is an apology and something to back it up.

Don't throw that fake positiv crap at me. I'm a happy person and I love life, drinking hanging out with buddies and all the bells and whistles. What I don't enjoy is being screwed by a company I thought were one of the good guys.

You misunderstood, I'm agreeing with you on that.

I liked ToR. It was a new take on MMO's, and tolerable now with all the updates and patches they've done. But I agree about the rehashed zones in DA2.

I'm here hoping they'll man up and just flat out say "Look, we're sorry we screwed up the ending. We learned our lesson and won't do it again." All it takes is an apology and something to back it up.

If they don't fix it, then sure. But if they do, I'll take that as their apology.

Says the person who stupidly throws money at bioware in a ridicules hope of them fixing the ending in which they have already said they aren't going to but please don't stop being a blind idiot on my account.

I really wanted to support the team and purchase all story DLC for ME3 as I did for ME1&2 (I even bought Pinnacle Station), but not anymore. Not after playing ME3.
The hope/wish that they will understand and change/add to the ending is fading and so my interest in the ME universe.

The DA team is another matter, though. I liked DA2 despite everything and I'll follow the development of DA3.

I don't care about the other teams: Bioware Mythic has 2 great games on its hands (Dark Age of Camelot and Ultima) and EA decided to waste all that money on a game almost nobody wanted. Bah.

Yep, clearly I was right, either that or you're just not reading what I'm writing, maybe because you can't read? I dunno...

To say it again, I.am.happy... paying.for.more.content... because.I.want.to.experience.more... of.Shepard's.story.

If it changes the endings by the time the dlc schedule ends, GREAT! If not, then I still won't regret spending my money on it because it was still apart of Shepard's story. A story I care very much about. So although all I have is blind hope in them fixing the endings. I'm not throwing my money at them because of that blind hope. I'm doing it because I want more Shepard.

Then why are you complaining about people who don't care about whats done with ME3 anymore and have no intention of supporting something they don't like? this thread definitely isn't going to change my mind about pre-ending dlc and i definitely don't care about the reapers background same goes for an omega dlc staring that annoying asari.

I was never complaining, the thread was a response to a comment by Patrick Weekes, that has since been cleared up. the reason it keeps getting bumped is because people just read the OP and not the whole thread.

Maybe should change that Image IPB

Can I ask what you're doing in the ME3 campaign and discussion if you no longer care about ME3 anymore?

Yeah, I really hope that MP won't be in DA3. They already need to deliver a good/great single player experience in order to keep the IP alive, (poor) MP added to it is the last thing the game needs.

Thanks for the head's up by the way and I hope to never see microtransactions in a single player game that is not F2P ;)

Hmmm...Jade you seem to have finally snapped here. Might I suggest you take a deep breath, count to ten, or back from ten, whatever floats your boat, drink some tea and call it a day? You seem to be ready to snap some necks through means of virtual media.
