People need to stop holding their wallets and start supporting this company if they ever want anything in regards to the endings changed.
There is absolutely NOTHING stopping them from cutting their losses and running, cancelling future dlc plans.
I don't know about you, but I REALLY don't want to see that happen!
In fact, I would rather support them on blind faith and optimism alone, hoping that they will listen and fix this with future dlc. But for that to happen, people need to get off their "youtube" horses and show BioWare how much you want a better ending for Shepard and for Mass Effect too.
Because at the end of the day, they hold all the cards.
In the same way we all banded together to "hold the line", we need to band together once again to show BioWare just how far we're willing to go. Sure, this blind faith might be a bit dellusional, but I know for a fact that 'holding the wallet', is not going to do anything but bad things.

They need to be taught a lesson. If I give them my money, then they will continue to release the same crap. Give them money or not, either way they wont change the ending. After the way I have been treated, they don't deserve a penny of my hard earned money. Screw them.

Bull****, that's sacrificing the Geth and EDI. Both of which I value highly.
I mean, the whole game I spent talking to EDI it was about helping her understand orgnics, and she COULD!
So to then turn around and intentionally kill them just to achieve that goal sucks. Plus it's not OUR terms, it's very much apart of the Catalyst's terms.
Well, we don't know what it does to the geth as they aren't tradtional AI and there is no evidence that they are destroyed. EDI is just one individual. If you're willing to let everyone, including the Geth and EDI die or be enslaved because you don't want to actually see the geth and EDI die your logic is no better than Starbinger.
How is the demise of the Reapers on Starbinger's terms exactly? Reapers dead. Pretty sure that's not what he wanted.
the Starbrat finds Destroy as a Temporary Solution because he says their children will create Synthetics and cause the "problem" all over again in the future
No, Destroy is not a solution at all; not temporary or otherwise. In fact, it opens the door for exactly what he wants to prevent. It is in no way, shape or form on its terms.
we all know it want Synthesis, but the Starbrat calls each ending a Solution, whether its likes Destroy or not, it considers Destroy a temporary solution because "the peace will not last" the same with Control

They didn't deliver a totally ****ty game, the ending ruined it but SOME of the other things were perfect. We got Liara's blue ass modelled!

This is why I hate BSN. People here are pessimistic. You're letting Bioware die in the desert.

I agree with your sentiment, maybe not your examples though.

Yes, they do hold all the cards and if they pull the plug it ends all hope for fixing the ending. However, instead of hearing what we've said over and over they keep coming back with their ultimatum. You don't hear that from Bethesda. Bethesda doesn't give their customers ultimatums. They gave them Broken Steel and made the game open ended.
Here? We get "well we felt the endings were a little too bleak especially for the player who went and gathered every single resource to fight the reapers. So we put the breath scene in at the end for them as a hint that Shepard survived." ...... "It could have been Shepard's last breath, too."
And then it goes on for months, and months, and months. Hints, that it might change only to be squashed again. No. I've given up hope. I can't see spending money on DLC for a game I'll probably be trading in 3 weeks.

There's no other way, sitting around being pessimistic and cyncical about everything little thing they do will only cause them to alienate themselves from us further.

I know and I really don't want to see them move completely away from Mass Effect. I hope that with fan support they will realize we still care and want more. like you said there's no other way, if their dlc sales are low EA will want to just move on and that would be terrible.Jade8aby88 wrote...

Don't give a dog that bit you a bone. Don't give that ex that cheated on you one more chance. It only reinforces bad behavior.
This is funny though, because even by being here on BSN, people are hoping BioWare will come around and wow everyone so they can love the game again.
People WANT to give them a second chance. It just gets drowned out by all the hate.

Frankly if most of them stop playing I would see very little loss. BW isn't gonna stop making games or DLC, theirs enough people to support them in that. Now they can be free of the constant worry of forum paladins getting uppity over whatever design decision they chose. d
Doubtful. I think a good portion, like me, bought the DLC to see if Bioware was actually going to do something with it. Not even a cutscene in the ending, simply 400 more EMS. I wont be buying more.
In addition, you'd see more than a little loss. Just saying.

There used to be a time when I was more into blind trust in Bioware products, but not anymore. I've been YouTubing everything of their's first; info from actual players of the product, not paid reviewers. Ignoring any interviews and promos and etc, since more often than not it makes the product even more unappealing to me. Especially when what is said enters more into outright lying territory.
It's kinda gotten to the point where I'm actually debating buying anything they make again. I don't want to play a game, or series of games for that matter, that introduce an interesting world and characters only for them to mess that up.
Don't mind me, I'll just... go back to MP now.

It isn't the only way. Its not even a way. Buying DLC will show up as fan interest, not support. THIS WILL NOT GET YOU WHAT YOU WANT.
