Among all +damge items, +fire is the most potential ones, and with the Dragon's Breath great-axe itself, it piles up to like 42 base fire damage with +70% fire damage.
Have anyone tried such a build?
I'm thinking on giving it a try but don't know if the fire bonus works with weapin and weapon skills.
"Dragon's Breath" build?

It'll be fine on non-nightmare difficulties but due to immunities (and lack of weaknesses) it might be a little troublesome on nightmare. It also doesn't have runeslots which means you can't use the primeval lyrium rune (or runes of devastation). For this reason alone I would say that several of the other end-game weapons might be superior.
The item level (and thus base damage) of Dragon's Breath also depends on the level at which you decide to play through the mota dlc. This means that getting it too early will result in a weaker weapon while waiting till the end of the game will mean that you don't really get to use it all that much.
But as for your concept of an elemental warrior, it's been done for quite some time (ever since IN1's rather impressive pre-patch builds). For the dragon's breath you should probably go with the robes of unblemished cleanliness, the ring of the ferryman, and a mix of generic and dlc gear for the rest.
The other thing to consider however is whether a few extra +% in fire is worth sacrificing the potential crit-chance and crit-damage available.
