Not getting to see the galaxy fight during the climax of the game in detail is my only real gripe with what is otherwise one of my favorite games. And while I'm a believer that games should be as complete and satisfying as possible upon release, something like this is better late than never. So it would be a purchase for me because of my love for the series.

Love the idea! Truly! I could make my peace with endings if that kind of closure was in game. However we already got EC (god, that evacuation by Normandy is stupid! More then any ending and starbrat combined. Btw, Javik is on Normandy as well). I doubt they will make another EC...

And if they do - I demand a closer for Shepard as well! Someone has to look for a body. It's the least they own Shepard. If anything has to be re-made in ME3 - it's EC.

I love this idea.

Priority: Earth is terrible, and it ends the game on such a half-assed note.

I would happily pay for more Earth battles, and to see our war assets in action.

I don't know if it's been said in this thread but I understand that most of the ME2 squad mates had their own missions but once they've reached earth I would have liked ive seen( as opposed to the communication scene) all the squad mates in the where they are gathered together and you can select the remaining for surviving squad mates as members of ur squad to finish priority earth. I would have a especially loved it if Miranda (had she survived horizon) rejoin the Normandy especially if she's your shepards love interest so you can take her on to the Illusive Man's base

there is no closure for (Li) characters like Miranda or jack. would have loved to had a dream you night scene N even if you couldn't do that would love to see Miranda or jack at the wall scenethen I feel there would have been a bit more closure for those characters

I think this is fan fiction territories. Not that it's bad or anything, but let's not pretend that this anything other than people who want their fan fiction made into cut scenes. Maybe if they novelize the game the writer can through these details in, but who is actually going to wait for 2 GB download of 10 min additions to a game.

Don't think it'll happen unfortunately. See, if they do this, then people will just ask for more. Even if they do have a semi-happy ending, if it doesn't include blue babies for example, people will want that put in. Or, if this gets done, but it doesn't have a conventional victory, they'll want that too. Or a boss fight with Harbinger. It never ends.

Sometimes people will have to use their imagination a bit. Good writers use audience participation a bit instead of telling them every single detail.

I did see certain war assets have an affect on the story, but it's not like we saw every single one on Earth. Some were located on other worlds, because, well, they had to protect their homeworlds as well.

well yes and no. there were some that were left to guard their home world BUT a lot of them were supposed to help fight against the reapers on earth. all those mercs were supposed to fight for earth but they didnt even show up for role call

If it adds to the experience, better late than never. People buy director's cut versions of films all the time, often years after the initial release.

A boss fight with Harbinger?  As if that's an inconsequential add in.  Please don't go there.  That should have been in the main campaign.

I feel you, TC, but BioWare had their chance with the EC and flat-out refused. This is just another support thread for BioWare to chuckle at and ignore.
