I got an idea:

Zaeed being in charge of the mercenary gangs you gathered for Aria. A cutscene wich shows Zaeed setting up a trap with his gangs, and when the times comes, they set off the trap and Zaeed screams: "GO! Let's sent those guddam bastards back to hell" and you see all the various gangs fighting together as one big team/one big gang.

*snip*

A great idea! Although, would the blue suns accept zaedd as their leader, considering their history?

Yes I thought about that, and that can depend on what choice you made back in ME2. You see, if you let Vido go, there would be an extra dialogue scene with a Blue Suns member talking to Zaeed about not trusting him, because Vido told them Zaeed is dangerous and needs to be shot on sight. But of course, Zaeed almost breaks his neck when telling him that there's a war going on and we need to win that war without looking into the past.

Then, if you killed Vido, there's a scene where the Blue Suns ask Zaeed about Vido, and Zaeed shakes his head with a grim smile and walks on.

Seems pretty cool to me :)

I think that would be great! Zaeed maybe coming up next then ^^

i really wish bioware would do this. its really the only dlc that would make it worthwhile to play through the end.

Exactly! I thought this is what would be added in the EC, but apparently bioware though that a picture montage was the best way to end a 5-year franchise

I think the thing most needed, is to see the Rachni entering into the battle in space. We were told that when the time came, they would be ready to cleanse the darkness away, and they were not there. I want to see an Organic Fleet inbound during part of the fighting, damnit.

Also, I'd happily get to see Shiala and her Thorian-infected team somewhere too, but that's unlikely.

This sounds great!

I'd love to see my war assets actually make a difference in game play.

The rachni will definately be introduced during one of my cutscene ideas :P

I thought the pictures were a really good way to end it, just like the montage with text at the end of Jade Empire and DA:O. I really like that. BUT, Priority: Earth was such a letdown. The whole point of ME3 was uniting the entire galaxy to fight for you at Earth, but what do we get?

Jacob:

The brave Jacob charge fiercely against a group of 5 brutes in an alley. "But the priiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiize!!!" and then his head is smashed against a wall.

j/k

Actually nice work on this thread. I cannot think of anything right now but at least you brought up a good thread.

Cutscenes cost money and using the in game scenes would mean making some new combat models and friendly combat AI. Right now we only have companion AI, follow Shep, and enemy AI, kill Shep.

While a good idea, its never going to happen because of the amount of time, money, and creative energy that would be needed to do so.

But that's exactly it; I would have been fine with just text with cutscenes, but there wasn't even any text!

Dragon age origins both showed us our war assets and gave all the choices significant closure.

Me3 did neither!

However, this wouldn't be a free dlc; they could still make a profit from this kind of thing.

Plus, it would affect the ending somewhat, so a lot of fans would buy it.

I would've wanted priority earth to be like the suicide mission, where we can choose to allocate our fleets, troops, etc where we felt they'd serve best. In fact earth should have been a series of missions, liberating key locations before finally leading the charge on London.

I think someone kind of touched on this earlier. This would also might be a pain to create, but the squad mates you didn't take with you having some kind of cutscene.

Examples could be something like this ( note this are very rough and simple ideas, don't hate me)

Shepard and his squad (Anyone but Garrus) are fighting Cannibals and Marauders. They are in cover being attacked from all sides. A Cannibal come in for the attack, but gets shot down. One by one the enemies start getting killed. When the enemy final starts to retreat, there you see Garrus, sniper in hand, walking down from a pile of rubble. You make a quick, verbal exchange, and you are off on your own ways.

Some of these are excellent.

This is the kind of thing that was missing so much from the end of ME3 - the absence of these kind of things bugged me more than star brat.

This should be the 40+ page topic in stead of the whine"Please give me my happy ending" topic.

Thanks for not hating it.  It give insight into what your squad mates are doinig.  Instead of being in the Normandy, not really doing anything productive, they are out there on the front lines making a difference

Yep. Rather than you just have to head canon the gaps with what your crew and squad is up too - you actually get tangible feedback about whats going on - it doesn't even need to actually affect the game in any real way (although would be cool if it did), just giving them an apperance fills in those hollow gaps of Shepard and their two comrades being a solo army.
