It's time, the Harrier must be balanced... Or do you think it's fine the way it is?

The harrier is fine the way it is. I use the Armor piercing mod and extended clip. Using double taps and controlled trigger bursts I get excellent performance from the gun without needing a stabilizer.
Hence a Nerf is needed,I agree.

Hint: The balance changes are based off of usage statistics.
So if you stop using the harrier, they will study why you are not using the harrier.
The Harrier buff will never come as long as it is 1/3rd of all pug weaponry.
So if you want more bullets, not using it is litterally the solution.
Remember when you wrote that things only seemed balanced because people weren't using two thirds of the guns? It seems to me that wonderful strategy is why. "So, a majority of players like this gun? I know, we'll mess it up, then everything will be good." Here's a thought, if people are using a small group of weapons, it might not be because those weapons are too powerful. It just might mean that the other weapons just aren't good enough...especially with the buff the geth got and the addition of platinum. Just my opinion, but if they want to continue to balance things, they might want to focus on buffs rather than nerfs for a while (like they've done two of the last three weeks). There are simply too many guns that aren't worth using in u/u/g or platinum matches.
Now do note. If only one gun is good enough, you might be turning that difficulty slider up to high, and you are shooting yourself in the balls 12/5 times.
Ok, I laughed at that one. No worries, though, my balls are just fine. I use different weapons for different characters, and I have no problem getting things done. My point was simply that there are a bunch of guns that just aren't worth taking into higher dificulty matches. Comparing ultra rares to them just doesn't seem appropriate. Of course players are going to prefer the rares and ultra rares. If they didn't, then labeling them rare and ultra rare and making them much more costly and difficult to obtain would simply be a rip off.

A lot of them are heavier, which makes them stronger simply because of the weight they carry with them.
However, it would be bad game design to have two teirs of obsolete weapons sitting around in the first place, especially when said two teirs of weapons contain some of the more fun to use guns in the game.
The ultra rares, without a doubt, have the highest strength to weight ratios in the game anyhow.
The Rares, not so much, but that is fair (Given that you can skip the very light uncommons if you feel like it.)

DPS.
Seriously. The entire reason to use the Harrier is because of it's outstanding DPS. If you want, you can burst fire it yourself so you can hit enemies easily, or conserve ammo.
But taking away the massive damage potential of the weapon is NOT the right choice.
OT: After reading a few other peoples comments, I'm changing my stance on the issue to "it's fine as is." I don't happen to have the Harrier myself, can't speak on whether or not it is properly balanced outside of my own speculation, although from what people are saying here is that not even a minor buff to total ammo capacity should occur, as it's the only serious downfall of the weapon.

Really I think upgrades should give a reasonable upgrade to the amount of spare ammo. What's does an upgrade give at this point, 2 extra bullets? Give me a break.

Ammo is only an issue if you super glue yourself to one piece of cover and never move except for objectives.
If you're playing aggressively, you're going to pass ammo boxes. BioWare put them there for a reason, it wasn't meant to be decoration while you set up a campsite on the other end of the map.

More ammo would be lovely, but the risks of having that ammo are too high. The harrier is one of the few Ultra Rares that actually feels worthy of being in the Ultra Rare tier, as opposed to being rubbish outmatched by a Uncommon, like some of the other Ultra Rares.
