I used to be interested in the whole circle of magi system before it became a cartoonish joke. I used to be interested in learning more about the Qunari before they became generic beastmen who all have the exact same voice, look, and lack of personality. (Sten was actually very interesting while also being very foreign to my way of thinking) I used to be interested in elven culture when they actually had one. I'm still very interested in Dwarven culture and the deep roads (DA2 didn't manage to touch that very much) I'm interested in learning about what's beyond Thedas, in the lands the Qunari came from etc...

Oh boy. Where to begin?

I'll narrow it down to just a couple. Morrigan, Flemeth, Tevinter Imperium society, and Qunari society.

is 'everything' an answer?

Flemeth
Sandal
Feynriel/dreamers/magic
Different locations (Tevinter, Orlais, Arlathan, Weisshaupt Fortress, Fade/Black City)
Different cultures (Kossith, Old Gods, more about dwarves and elves)
Political intrigue
War/Blights
Eluvian

oh yes! This as well:

Sandal and his origins before being found alone in the Deep Roads. A very, very powerful being with the mind of a child. Figuring out what Morrigan knows about Flemeth and how can the OGB set things right as she believes is his destiny. And how much more butt my female Warden is going to kick because she's a fiesty redhead, elf with attitude.

The Tome of Kuslun, and why it matters so much to the Qunari to the point where they stopped waging war against the Orlesians after they stole it.

If they were slaughtering the army with no opposition, then stopped after one little book was stolen, what's its significance? The Qunari don't seem like the type that place that much significance on a book, but rather the words in it. Is the Tome a key to the Qunari's impressive technology?

And, now that they have it back, will they be unleashing that force on the world again?

I am more of an explorer than I am a politician. I liked the legends and histories, the deep roads, old ruins. Exploration of forgotten locales, uncovering things that have been lost for ages. I am an archaeologist with sword and spell. I want to see whats been hidden below the deep roads for ages, or find a lost pocket of elves far into the unexplored wilds.

Quanari don't interest me very much, trying to talk to the slave mage was enough of a clue. They do not think for themselves, the only interesting Qun would be an outcast and abberation, but then it wouldn't really be the Qun, so what is the point?

I don't really care much about the mages and templars, it was a unique take on magic and religion in fantasy worlds, but two games hitting me over the head with this mage vs templar thing was enough. I find myself not caring a whole lot about it. Especially after last game, where no matter what I did, I had to kill everyone............so I say let them all kill each other, while I come back and sweep up the ashes.

I do find Flemeth interesting, but after last games pointless 5 minutes then never mentioned again treatment, I don't want to hang much of my wishes for the game on these 5 minute then dropped plotlines.

Truth be told the most fun I've ever had in Dragon Age was when I held court in Awakening. I would love to be a judge of some-sort in the future.

The old Gods
The Qunari
Tevinter, both history and current politics
The Fade, (in general, not necessarily how it has been implemented in the games).
Flemeth

The only lore related thing I have no interest in : Yet more mage vs templar

I definitely agree with everything you said. Especially with paint drying being more interesting than Orlais. I don't see why there is such a hype with Orlais...maybe it's the accents.
Oh well, just my opinion.

A couple of months after DA2 was released, the question went around, where would you like to see DA3 to be at next?  Orlais won hands down.  I want to say it was something around 75% of those who voted wanted Orlais.  Of course, that was before the mass exodus of formites.

As others have said:

Where is the Warden, Hawke and Anders?
Where is Alistair, Isabela, Fenris, Merril, Varric, Zevran, Leliana, Shale, Sigrun...?
Did Velanna ever found her sister?
Arlathan, Old Gods, Tevinter
Rhys and Evangeline, Fiona
Qunari/ the Fex
More of Flemeth
Feynriel
where is the son of Arl of Redcliff? ( he was in tevinter learning magic)
I would love to be a judge same or similar of how warden commander did in awakening.
More Involvement‎ of Corypheus now that he is on the loose.
More about the existence of so-called "dragon cults"
More of Wade and Herren.
Killing Sebastian as Hawke and keeping his Kingdom! ( meh) thats what I call " get to power by any means" :P

Off the top of my head...

>The Kossith, both Qunari and Tal'vashoth, as well as non-Kossith followers of the Qun.
>Darkspawn, the Awakened, the Old Gods, and Blights.
>The Maker and Black City, and their possible role in the Blights.
>The Grey Wardens and what they are seeking.
>Arlathan, the Dalish, Eluvians, and other elven lore.
>The Tevinter Imperium; sofar their involvement has been about as limited as the batarians in Mass Effect. I'd hate to see their potential wasted in the same manner.
>The Orlesean Game and rumored revolution. I do love some political intrigue.
>The Seekers and Chantry.
>Mage/Templar Conflict. As others have said, all mages turning to blood magic and becoming psychopaths severely dampened my interest in this, but I would definitely like to see it revisited in a less hamfisted manner; so long as it is not the primary focus of the plot, as it was in DA2.

The Tevinter Imperium, Orlais, the Eluvian and other Dalish lore, the Fade and the Black City, and the Old Gods. I'm guessing we'll get plenty of the mage/templar conflict anyway :)

For me, I'm quite interested in delving deeper into the Wardens and the stuff going on with the First Warden.

I'm also very interested in discovering more about the Tevinter Imperium and what led to the creation of the darkspawn. How much of what the Chantry teaches is the truth? How much is false?

I'd also like to know more about the ancient elves. Not just the stuff that the Dalish go on about, but the actual elves who sided with Andraste and fought for their freedom.

Aside from those things, I really just want to know more about Flemeth and why it seems that everyone who she assists ends up having to disappear.

Origin of the taint and darkspawn the true origin and not the chantry's version.

Flemeth

I want to play Andraste or as Andraste's companion in DA3 The makers bride returns to set right her husbands burning world.
