I'll narrow it down to just a couple. Morrigan, Flemeth, Tevinter Imperium society, and Qunari society.

If they were slaughtering the army with no opposition, then stopped after one little book was stolen, what's its significance? The Qunari don't seem like the type that place that much significance on a book, but rather the words in it. Is the Tome a key to the Qunari's impressive technology?
And, now that they have it back, will they be unleashing that force on the world again?

Quanari don't interest me very much, trying to talk to the slave mage was enough of a clue. They do not think for themselves, the only interesting Qun would be an outcast and abberation, but then it wouldn't really be the Qun, so what is the point?
I don't really care much about the mages and templars, it was a unique take on magic and religion in fantasy worlds, but two games hitting me over the head with this mage vs templar thing was enough. I find myself not caring a whole lot about it. Especially after last game, where no matter what I did, I had to kill everyone............so I say let them all kill each other, while I come back and sweep up the ashes.
I do find Flemeth interesting, but after last games pointless 5 minutes then never mentioned again treatment, I don't want to hang much of my wishes for the game on these 5 minute then dropped plotlines.

I definitely agree with everything you said. Especially with paint drying being more interesting than Orlais. I don't see why there is such a hype with Orlais...maybe it's the accents.
Oh well, just my opinion.

A couple of months after DA2 was released, the question went around, where would you like to see DA3 to be at next? Orlais won hands down. I want to say it was something around 75% of those who voted wanted Orlais. Of course, that was before the mass exodus of formites.

>The Kossith, both Qunari and Tal'vashoth, as well as non-Kossith followers of the Qun.
>Darkspawn, the Awakened, the Old Gods, and Blights.
>The Maker and Black City, and their possible role in the Blights.
>The Grey Wardens and what they are seeking.
>Arlathan, the Dalish, Eluvians, and other elven lore.
>The Tevinter Imperium; sofar their involvement has been about as limited as the batarians in Mass Effect. I'd hate to see their potential wasted in the same manner.
>The Orlesean Game and rumored revolution. I do love some political intrigue.
>The Seekers and Chantry.
>Mage/Templar Conflict. As others have said, all mages turning to blood magic and becoming psychopaths severely dampened my interest in this, but I would definitely like to see it revisited in a less hamfisted manner; so long as it is not the primary focus of the plot, as it was in DA2.

I'm also very interested in discovering more about the Tevinter Imperium and what led to the creation of the darkspawn. How much of what the Chantry teaches is the truth? How much is false?
I'd also like to know more about the ancient elves. Not just the stuff that the Dalish go on about, but the actual elves who sided with Andraste and fought for their freedom.
Aside from those things, I really just want to know more about Flemeth and why it seems that everyone who she assists ends up having to disappear.
