Forgive me for being impatient, but I need a response to this bug that really needs to be fixed.

I hope they fix it. I have not play EC and just bought Leviathan :-/

The team will investigate this, but even if a fix is needed, it will not happen quickly. Patching takes weeks or months to copmlete.  The team is investigating and when we have more information, we will let you know.

Now that BioWare is aware of this bug, it will be fixed soon.

I do hope this is fixed soon- I can't purchase it until I know it can't clash with the EC. Might as well start my playthrough to the end without Leviathan.

You are missing out on a good DLC. It is pretty good despite the bug it created. It will take 3-4 hours to complete.

Maybe it's an overlap with the conditionals file inside the Leviathan DLC and the Extended Cut DLC?

BTW, is this cross-platform or local only to PC?

That is a possible explanation of the bug, but we won't know until I get more information from BioWare about the bug.

To answer your second question, the bug is cross-platform, not just PC. I added my second answer to the top of my thread.

I'm kind of concerned. I just bought Mass Effect 3 during the labor day sale, and picked up Leviathan as well. I'm about 15 hours into the game and just went through Leviathan. So, on my first play through (and likely only play through, I don't play through games more than once very often), I won't be able to experience the Extended Cut?

You will be able to experience the Extended Cut if you have it installed into your game, but due to the bug, only 3 small sequences will be skipped.

Like I said, only 3 small sequences are skipped and you would probably not really notice it.

I played Leviathan right after the Cerberus coup and I haven't reached the ending yet. I'll be able to tell soonish whether I experience the same issue.

How far are you into the game right now?
