Silver for fun, Gold for money. I don't touch Platinum because I hate fighting any faction other than Cerberus above Bronze, and certainly don't want all of the heavies coming at me at the same time.

Silver because I'm still not confident giving Gold a try with my Destroyer/Typhoon combo. To top it off, I still only have one mod for my Assault Rifle.

Silver for Level I
Gold for rest
not a fan of Plat due to all of the bosses after bosses (it's not actually harder for me, just tedious)

Gold and Platinum. I care about having fun most of all and I enjoy playing very aggressively, which means I don't camp. Platinum is hard enough for me to run-and-gun on that I only play with friends who can handle themselves, I hate carrying and won't do it past Gold (anyone bad enough for me to carry shouldn't be playing on such high difficulties and are essentially leeching, and I refuse to intentionally encourage people to leech).

The sad truth is that most people playing on Gold/Platinum belong on Silver/Bronze, greed and selfishness makes them play above their skill level and subsequently ruin everyone else's fun, everyone doing that is a douchebag and I refuse to play with such people/let them ruin my fun (which is easier on Gold, especially since Platinum has taken all the worst of the leechers for itself, and I also needn't hold as high a bar for who I play with as I do with Platinum, so it's far easier to find decent randoms on Gold). Anyway I'm done now (I just really hate leechers...) /rant

On a side note, as challenging as Platinum is, Gold is challenge enough for me to play as aggressively as I do without dying that I have more fun on Gold (Platinum forces me to play too defensively/less creatively and depend too much on raw DPS just to stay alive). Platinum is certainly challenging, but cheap (like the Geth) in a lot of the worst ways. If I get good enough to all-out Rambo on Gold with any character without breaking a sweat (and never dying), maybe that'll change and I'll stick with Platinum. Until then, Gold is more fun and challenging in (mostly) all the right ways.

Lmao! Wtf? Who the hell are you? The ME3 Police?!

Just making an observation, most people playing the higher difficulties are crap at this game (and often admit on their mics to rarely, if ever, completing a match, just playing for the money and wiping after wave six, if they even get that far... this all on Xbox). People playing above their skill level for the money, and forcing better players to carry their useless asses, is leeching, period. I'm allowed to dislike leechers, just as they're technically allowed to leech so long as they do their best not to suck too badly. I don't have to play with them though, and it's been a rough couple of days of carrying some really bad players so when I responded to this thread, a few sentences found themselves devoted to this topic. It's an ongoing annoyance, and sparing a few sentences to give it voice in a related thread seemed appropriate. Your response, not so much.

Bronze when I'm leveling up to around 13-16, playing a class I'm not experienced with, experimenting with different weapons or only have around 15 minutes for a match. Silver when I'm leveling from 14-20, and Gold when My Asari Adept is level 20. I always do PUGs because I'm still finding friends, and I alway go for the random map and enemy. I hardly ever end up in a farming group, so I don't mind when it happens. Eventually I want to play Platinum, but I'm still trying to improve my game skills.

mostly gold, but if its just me and one other friends sometimes we'll just two-man silvers if the puggers are particularly rough that day.

I'll solo bronze if I get frustrated with other people.

I mainly do Gold but I'll step down to Silver or Bronze to mess around or figure out a power for a character I'm not comfrotable with. I'll also do Plat when I'm feeling awake.

Gold, Silver used to do it for me but the return is so little. Especially when the pugs don't try so hard, I could carry but don't want to use equipment. So gold is a nice difficulty and I rarely run into pugs that won't even gel.

Gold and occasionally Platinum. Silver & bronze are just annoying. I hate chasing the enemy down..

With friends it's usually Platinum and, while I like it, I prefer Gold so I find myself playing that sometimes. Not having to worry about team DPS is great for a fun game and many more classes can keep up with the best of 'em.

Mostly gold...cuz im confident it will be a victory...though it isnt always a guarantee...so there is some challenge...even if it is a PUG...and it isnt as CRAZY and CHAOTIC as Platinum.

PLATINUM only with people i know....or individuals i have played a few rounds with and trust that they know what they are doing.

silver-for S's&G's and to test builds.

Gold, whenever I have the chance. Usually against Reapers, I find them the most fun for some reason. Platinum speedruns if I need credits. Silver is when I want to kick back and just shoot crap and not think. Bronze is well.... Bronze exists?

Recently migrated to Gold, but I'll only play with friends or if the guys I just had a silver game with are good and decide to up the difficulty. My equipment (ammo n stuff 'cause I have tons of gel and rockets) is too sparse to gamble on randoms.

I am on the Top 3.

I use silver for proof of concept solo runs.

Gold for serious solo runs, and screwing around teamplay.

Then Platinum for not having fun.

Mainly Silver, some Gold when I want credits and a challenge, Bronze when I'm out of gear and starting a weak squishy character.

Gold - Cerberus, I know I'll do well on any map with my Kroguard as I've been doing it daily.
Silver - Geth and Reapers, I honestly can't handle these two factions, I could go against the Reapers if it wasn't for the Banshees who scare the living hell out of me.

Platinum when playing with geno, G, Aethyl, Fen or Sten, or for duos
Gold when playing with my other friends

Generally platinum is much funnier than gold {IMO}

I primarily play silver. I like the atmosphere in the typical (from what I've seen) silver PUG where anything goes.
