Gold PuGs mostly - platinum with friends if we're credit farming but I don't find it anywhere near as enjoyable as gold and it really is too much to ask for a competent team of randoms on platinum.

The couple of guys I used to play U/U/P with, where we were able to actually run 'n' gun platinum, don't seem to play any more.

I usually play a mix of Silver and Gold. It depends on how I feel that night and if any of my friends are on. Two of them are new so we broke them in and can usually carry them through Silver. Unless I'm playing a specific class, I can't carry on Gold. Maybe when they learn the spawns better.

Gold. Usually do Glacier/Cerberus/Gold when I'm running with my friends who don't have their non-URs and characters maxed yet, otherwise U/U/G is my favored game. I was raised on Silver, as I probably didn't start playing Gold until slightly before Rebellion hit.

I play Bronze for the first few levels of a new character or if I just want a quick match before going and doing something else. I stick to Silver for proper games. I've yet to try Gold but I seriously doubt I'm ready or equipped to make that leap just yet.

Silver. Silver is relaxed enough that I don't have to stress about anything. I can clutch a round if I need to and the payout is decent. I can play Gold but the chance of failing is always there.

Technically platinum, but I can almost never find any decent pugs in it, and my friends aren't on 24/7.

So in practice, I'm usually stuck with boring old gold.

When I'm pugging, which is pretty often these days if I'm playing, Silver and Gold. With friends, we sometimes do Platinum, but Gold is my favorite difficulty to play on.

Mostly Silver, feel like it's equal on terms and I can at least tolerate the broken Geth to a degree, Gold if I feel like I found a good team or just want to do some Commando jobs.

Still haven't played a decent Platinum, and to be honest, I don't want to. Boss spamming isn't my thing.

Silver if I'm feeling epic or Bronze for fun.

Have tried Gold 3 times now, and wave 8 is my best. Damn Phantoms :-(

Hosting PUGs: used to be mostly silver with the occasional bronze. Now it's gold with the occasional silver.

Gold/Silver: tough nowadays mostly Gold but Silver is still fun.
I once tried platinum too... to sum it up quickly:

Bronze. Because it's the best.

I now consider myself a decent Silver player (ie I don't die very often), but when I step up to Gold I generally get absolutely mullered. It doesn't help that 90% of Gold games I've dropped into have been FBW Geth.
I got dropped into a Platinum match once, Wave ten. Somehow made it to extraction, I have no idea how.

Silver for enjoyable gameplay experience, not too hard, not too easy, a good balance in term of difficulty

Gold for farming, (mostly fbwgg) i don't like gold that much, but at least it pays well.

Bronze if i have to level a character, for Xp i prefer to taker a longer but easier path.

Gold, with a few plays on Silver in between. But if I'm with my friends, I'll play them all, Bronze to Platinum. :D

I play about 60% silver, 20% bronze, 20% gold with the occasional platinum.

Gold mainly. Platinum/Silver occasionally when I help friends farming or I try absurd loadouts with low level characters.

Gold and Plat, both are fun if you don't speedrun or farm, it gives a challenge ^^

I have learned my lesson.

Bronze and Silver with randoms, you will not believe how many idiots use the most horrible load outs i have seen (krogan vangaurd with Jav level I and Clay level I for example) even then, i feel like i am doing silver on solo.

Gold and Plat only with friends, even if we just farm or go in for proper play.

Randoms = face palm

I always go with randoms.
Bronze and silver matches are usually quite easy.
Gold is quite challenging. I've had a few victories, so it's not all bad.

I don't really care too much what people have in their load outs. I personaly prefer to have faster cooldowns always.
But there are people who play as asari adept carrying Claymore Level 1 and Widow Level 1. I'm cool with it. I don't mind carrying people on lower difficulties until they eventually figure out how the cooldown system works (which is something they should have figured out from single player campaign).

On Gold. You know what, I have so much difficulty getting Gold matches that I just allow any old Joe. It almost always ends badly.

One drunken player was too busy singing really badly in a FAKE Irish accent. When the Banshees arrived that player started screeching. Okay that last one never happened. But it wouldn't surprise me if it did.

Personally I'm more of a bronze/silver player, who can excell at Gold if the team knows what they're doing.
