I want the game to register my Firefight Pack for a character so I go online in order to do so (as I normally play in offline mode). However, after this latest Origin update, the game just hangs. I get the Launching Mass Effect 3 window, and then . . . nothing happens. The game launches just fine in Offline mode, but when I need to go online to have a specific character get the Firefight pack, the game refuses to load. Relevant details:

- Origin.exe and MassEffect3.exe are set as trusted applications in my firewall.
- Repair Installation was done and had no effect.

I've never had this issue before when authorizing the weapon DLC.

I had this happen the other day too. Thought it was strange that Origin launched in offline mode, when I've never once set it to offline mode, not once. Knew I had to be connected in order for ME3 to validate my DLC (horrible requirement by the way), so I switched to online mode, and ME wouldn't launch. Hoping that I wouldn't have to re-install ME3, I exited and restarted Origin, and everything's been okay ever since.

I suspect it was an issue on their end (servers being wonky for some reason). Thankfully after a few minutes of trying it started working again.
