There's nothing keeping them from working on a new game. DLC teams are very small and usually only have one writer.
It's still resources that could be used for something worthwhile
Yeah but with that reasoning why bother witha nything NOT worthwhile?
Who is to say what is and isnt worthwhile?
Personally I like DLC for games I like, hell some games I wish had MORE relevant DLC involved.

What in the world is happening with Bioware? No more *real* Mass Effect games it seems, no mention of Dragon Age 3, no mention of a new franchise. Practically no content updates for SWTOR for how many months now?
Go to Bioware.com, I see Command and Conquer and Ultima online? What!?!?! Are Bioware teams actually developing that stuff or is it there because it's under the EA umbrella? Why aren't other EA studios working on that? Where is the Bioware we used to know?

I wish they'd spend their time on something more worthwhile as well. DLC is just bad value for money spent. Aside from that, I don't know why a lot of people would bother paying for a new mission that takes place during the events of a game you've already finished months ago. What's the point when Shepard's story is finished?

several things.
They;re not going to announce a new ME game THIS soon. I mean come on. Its gonna be a bit before they do anything else NEW with the ME brand.
you may think DLC is bad value for money spent, but I, and plenty of other people have no overriding issue with DLC and will spend what we feel is worthwhile for our wallets (honestly I spend more than $10 a week on water while i;m at work, so thats nothing to me). Besides you could say the same for ANY DLC EVER, hell even expansion packs in a sense. Some people just like more of what they like, nothing inherently wrong with that.
Also BW Victory is developing C&C and I believe like with Warhammer BW owns Ultima now or something of that nature. So I dont get the complaint of the BW we used to know, BW has been owned by ea almost 5 years now.
As for SWTOR They;re prepping it to go F2P I believe, so content should be coming shortly

Yes will live on forever. We can't let it die.

Maybe him and Zack Ryder can form a new tag team called "Hug it out, Bro" with Kane as the enforcer?
Better than whats going on right now in the fed.

Hell yeah, any more Mass Effect is good Mass Effect.
I don't like giving Bioware or any other company a free pass for mediocrity. I gather that Leviathan is a decent DLC, but I won't support anything ME3 related unless it's changing the endings.
Play some other story driven games and see if you can find characters you enjoy. After taking a break, I begin to wonder what all the fuss was about, even in my own head. I still love Garrus, but I feel there's the Garrus that exists free of the ME3 endings, which I can only imagine, and there's the reality of bad endings. For that reason, I'm not very confident that even if Bioware "did the right thing," as a current mega-thread is named, that it would feel legitimate after so much bitterness.

I guess I expressed myself a little too strongly.
For me personally, I wish they'd work on something I might enjoy, rather than on something that with Bioware DLC pricing policies I'll never experience except on youtube. For people who find DLC to be value for money then I guess it's different.
Though I'd still suggest that you'd ultimately get better value if Bioware devoted itself exclusively to full games. Unless, I guess, you only like Mass Effect 3 and not other games Bioware might make.

Well I liked ME1 and the DLC, I liked ME2 and its DLC and I liked ME3 and so far its DLC. I'm not worried that DLC is effecting other games as we are at least 2 years away from another ME game, so DLC in the interim doesnt hurt. I'm sure they have enough manpower to not only do DLC, but also plan and execute new games when necessary.

Him saying we don't have to worry is proof enough that at this time we don't have to worry about more DLC. I rather take the word of someone who would know more about it and works on such DLC compared to your assumption at this stage. His word on this situation is of more value to me than your assumption.

It pretty much confirms that there will be more DLC, but that by itself doesn't necessarily mean Leviathan sold well.Conniving_Eagle wrote...
