Now that I think about it, one of the things that kind of annoyed me about DA2 and made the combat so much less fun than it could have been was the problem of Pulls.  Now, for anyone who plays an MMO, a Pull is when you activate distant enemy mobs in some fashion so that they come attack you and you can fight them.  Origins had a certain amount of pulling intelligence involved in it.  DA2 had NONE.  To open a door was to instantly aggro every mob in the next room (and sometimes a couple of rooms over as well).  That and the line-of-sight was absolute crap, particularly for enemy casters (you couldn't see them or target them but they could nevertheless drop AOE DOT spells square on your party).  Or, worse, you could see a dozen or more floating health bars but NOT ONE of the actual ENEMIES, nor could you target them.

Could you drop spells like Diablo's Hydra that would shoot around the corner while you remained safely out of harm's way (and possibly pulled about 300 mobs down upon you, which was always hilariously awful)? No.
Could you set up an ambush and draw a few mobs at a time into it?  No.
Could you place your archers up high where they could rain down destruction but not be reached by melee enemies?  No.
Could you run your party around the corner to force weaker mages/ranged monsters to close to melee range?  No.  And the "glass cannon" types frequently had TONS AND TONS more HP than even the toughest melee types.

Bring pulling back please.

I all for being able to attack unaware enemies.
