I sent him into the deep roads because he was always on my tail. I'm pretty sure he was looking at my woman too. I brought Anders with me so he's a gray warden. Is ths normal?

...His name is Carver.
And yes, if you take both him and Anders, he either dies or becomes a Grey Warden, if you take him and someone other than Anders, he dies and if you don't take him he joins the Templars. Whatever you do, your sibling will always leave your party at the end of Act 1 and either rejoin at the very end / for DLCs or die.

I know Carver's a bit of a jerk, but this seems rather extreme. (On the other hand, in-universe Hawke has no way of knowing, so it's only the "Anders comes and Carver dies anyway" option that sounds bad.) And really, this "my woman" stuff is kind of messed up. Sounding like a property dispute is not good, and slavery of elves being an issue that comes up several times doesn't really help.

If Carver becomes a warden, he isn't dead, just tainted.
He seems happiest as a warden, which is why I prefer this outcome, and Bethany as a circle mage.
Is Carver called Cavier in certain languages, and thus not a misspelling?
