Ok, the guys over in the Mass Effect 3 forums get credit for even introducing me to this wonderful thing on the Tube of You.
This is 'Reverse Complaining' about Dragon Age 2. He doesn't say anything we haven't said over and over again. But the way he says it.... with some... sophistication and grace all while complimenting the game and what works... well I think it's nice to share.
And while I'm sharing there's his not so complimentary Mass Effect 3 video for anyone's viewing pleasure. It's actually so well done and its points so well made that I'm still in awe of it like an hour later.

I loved his review but i think he underestimated DA2. He says DA2 tried to innovate and failed. IMHO it succeeded

I didn't see what the hub-bub over DA:II was, but I haven't finished playing Origins yet. Besides recycling locations, I didn't really have any problems with DA:II.

The main complaint from DAO hardcore fans was the combat. Dragon Age was advertised as the spiritual sucessor to Baldur's Gate, and realistic combat is a part of that. The exagerated teleporting rogue from DA2 was contradictory to the premise of DA.

that guys video made me mildly excited for DA3.
DAO hardcore fan here. my main complaint is recycled map my action has little to no effect on the story. Character interaction was far too limited in DA2.
Hmm, none of that has anything to do with the combat which I felt was an improvement from DAO
