This is the first time I've ever had to post here.

I have this issue with Awakenings this I hope someone might be able to help me with.

I started Awakenings again recently and imported my character. Everything was fine and then the game bugged out on me. Firstly, it wouldn't let me gift to my companions nor would it let me level up.
When I tried to stat a new awakening game, it wouldn't load to the import/new screen, it would instantly load up to a room, almost like a bug fix stage with you playing Jaden?

This has left me somewhat frustrated. I tried uninstalling my game (I have the ultimate edition for the PC by the way) and that worked for about 5 minutes befoe the thing bugged out again, leading to the same issues above, but including a new one where none of my party would engage in battle. They wouldn't even acknowledge a battle was happening until I clicked for them to attack. After that foe was slain, they'd go back to default, even though there were other enemies around.

I just want to get this sorted. I've played through Awakenings before and it worked perfectly then, but now... i don't know what else to do.

Do you have any 3rd party mods installed?

I do. I uninstalled them all, including the game, reinstalled the game and started a clean game. same issue.

Ah forgive me, I am new to this.

It seems I was able to get it working again. I uninstalled again, removed absolutely everything to do with the game and then reinstalled. Now it works again.
