Me too. Considering MP DLC is being released next week, and the Citadel DLC requires 2 downloads, there should definitely be a fix for this problem includedphillip100 wrote...
I hope that the recently announced Citadel DLC will fix this bug.

You should PM Chris Priestly just to.remind him about this issue. It has been over 6 months.

I guess that doesn't rule out the EC/Leviathan bug being fixed by the Citadel DLC, but it does mean that if it's not fixed then, it's likely that it will not be fixed.

FYI - A member of the Ash forum asked Eric Fagnan about when the Marksman glitch with Ash might be fixed. Fagnan was nice enough to reply, but, sadly, informed us that no further patches are planned for ME3.

Is there a workaround to this bug that lets me play Leviathan and see the Extended Cut in its entirety?

I've heard it suggested that the only choice should have been "Activate the crucible or dont", and that the activation depends on choices you made. So you can end up with synthesis, control, or destroy based on how your game turned out (how this would have worked is an enigma itself, but i think the weird response to this ending sort of shows that people dont like chosing between questionable choices, but previous content has shown that people will accept when a "bad decision" is made for them.

The bug was unintentional. The reason is because the details scenes are still there just not the cinematics.Doctor_Jackstraw wrote...
it was intentional. Bioware iterated on the ending further, removing and changing things they didnt like, as if it were like the production cycle. I think, like they do, that the psychic premonitions of the endings are really weak, and feel too much like caving in to demand rather than presenting a solid narrative product. it was a bad decision and they removed it because it was a terrible inclusion into an otherwise pretty good free dlc.

Edit: By the way, I already told you this on the ninth page of this thread.

I disagree. The files being there is a way of it, but the dialogue logic string being altered is something someone actually had to go in there and CHANGE MANUALLY. i think the writing staff later said "Man, **** that. reviewing this scene, those premonitions were the DUMBEST thing we EVER made. When we patch this scene for leviathan lets just alter the lookups so it skips those ****ing movies. if it causes a little animation glitch well thats something we can live with."
as an artist i find the premonitions appauling. they were just.....spoonfeeding. their removal, while a little glitchy, services the scene far better. (Theres alot of stuff in games that gets cut down to the last minute. this is one of the few cases of something being cut AFTER release)

nobody asked you what you think, or feel, or what you find appauling. It isn't intentional at all, considering the scenes are still there without Leviathan installed. Now go do some "Art", moron.Doctor_Jackstraw wrote...

i didnt realise you had to ask permission to talk about HOW IT IS
as I said, the scenes ARE there, but they're disabled. removing content from the game that is already there is harder than just altering a scene to skip it. it seems you saw the word "art" and got all GRUMP and didnt even read what I said ;-<<<
wheres yor brane. readreadread dont rage. the content is there because deleting it requires them to remove the content from an existing dlc. all they did was remove the code that points to the movie files. Its called being "economical" (that took them a second and was efficient.)
if there WAS a literal bug it would either be localized to one movie or spread throughout the dlc directory. it does neither of this. all other extended cut fmv still works. they just altered the scene to skip those files because it was a bad idea to have those scenes in that say "Hey look if you pick this ending then you'll get to see THIS happen". the scene works and fully explains each choice well enough in extended cut without a little cheat-scene. thats why bioware changed the cutscene to disable those 3 movie files. it was their last chance to make any last minute changes to tighten up the pacing. Keeping it all localized to the conversation itself flows much more naturally.
(as an artist i like drawing ****** and vaginas)

they dont trigger and the only way to get them to trigger is to not have leviathan installed. I support the removal of these scenes it makes the ending not feel so much like its pandering.

"brain"? Way to prove my point moron.Doctor_Jackstraw wrote...

They were not removed intentionally or else the scenes would not be there where Shepard is tweaking out like a crackhead. The dialogue option wouldn't even be there had they purposefully patched it out. Crawl back under your bridge and stop stating your delusional speculations as if they were fact. Until then, you have zero credibility and are utterly laughable.
Now go sit in timeout and learn how to spell.

Unless you have evidence to back up your claim that the bug is intentional, it's really just speculation on your part.Doctor_Jackstraw wrote...
oh they're working "properly" as in "they deliberately disabled them"
