This dialogue was already there since the Extended Cut, RadicalDisconnect. I saw it.
Besides this kinda reinforce my feelings the Catalyst can only choose to turn off the Crucible if Shepard doesn't want to use the device.

Also to the OP: I beleive it would be interesting to ask someone on the twitter to see if they will confirm this as a bug or something intentional.

The Kid can turn of the beam, not the Crucible. If you look up, the Crucible is still active (those 4 beams are still converging on the center. Furthermore, when you initiate the Destroy ending the beam goes away. It remains for synthesis and control. I believe it is a power siphining beam used to draw power for synthesis and control.

I have posted this to Mike Gamble, the Mass Effect twitter page, and BioWare's twitter page. I really need an answer from them, but they are just not responding at all.

At first, I didn't see the issue... but then I watched the footage side-by-side and they're right. The cinematics are indeed gone.

Please fix this, Bioware.

I've also noticed using the Revanant AR and targeting (on xbox) the sound is off. It's hard to describe but it's like it's firing in slow motion.

Is anybody from the Mass Effect team going to respond to this important issue?

All we can do is wait till they get back to everyone about status of this even if they let people know they are looking into it or not.

You're right, but until then, we need to continue discussing it.

actually, it's skipped Line, it only needs the Content that was cut out. i believe it's Citadel DLC that is needed to resume the skipped line.

The skipped line is part of the Catalyst's elaboration of the control option in the Extended Cut, but in my video, you can see that the line "You will no longer be organic" is skipped along with the cinematic. You must be thinking about the part of the conversation with the Catalyst talking about the Crucible when it says, "You would not know them, and there isn't enough time to explain."

You may be right. I played the end of the game after finishing Leviathan, but never played the end of the game without playing the new DLC while it was installed. I will add what you just told me to my thread.

I didn't get the any of the Extended Cut endings and I downloaded it long before I finished the game. I also did not get the Master and Commander achievement even though my effective Military Strength was around the 7500 mark (basically finished EVERY mission and side mission as well as all the DLC had a score of over 8k and had a readiness level of 92%). Something with the Extended Cut DLC and the Leviathan DLC seems to have screwed up my game. No extended endings... no achievement... not cool! :(

I also posted about it in this thread, but no replies yet...

I think to get the Master and Commander achievement you have to have Scanned 80% of the items found by scanning planets. My first play through I didnt do any excess scanning, just missions and side missions and my EMS was very high but I didnt get master and commander until the second playthrough when I had scanned and found at least 80% of items from each scannable galaxy.

I have 100% of all scan able planets... I'm a major completion-ist. As much as I would like to think that was all it is, it is certainly more than that. :(

This issue has been bugging me for a while. I decided to uninstall the Leviathan DLC( I have the Xbox version) to see if it would fix the issue and it did. Then I reinstalled it and it started glitching again. My Shepard just moves his head awkwardly side to side a couple of times instead of it showing the mini flash sequences which makes that particular part of the conversation look very unnatural.

I really hope this gets fixed, it really takes you out of the moment.

I wonder if uninstalling Leviathan and then completing the game again would fix the acheivement error that I had? I think I'll try it, but it'll be a few days before I will have enough time to do it. :(
