It does seem like Bioware favors Synthesis.
Crazy thing that Sci-Fi.
Get ready for Synthesis being canon in ME4.
Considering the clear favoritism that ending gets among the writers, it seems that is where we are headed.

The bug doesn't mean that BioWare favors Synthesis. They are aware of this issue and they are looking into it
Edit: I shouldn't worded it like that in the last sentence.

Chris Priestly told me that in my PC Tech Support thread several days after I posted this bug in the following link:

The only thing you will miss in the EC is the 3 detail scenes I mentioned in my OP. If you want to see the missing content, use the video I was comparing it to in the annotations.

That post is 3 months old now. They're "looking into it right now" the same way I'm looking in to changing my day job to Batman. I'm pretty sure if it doesn't involve that multiplayer garbage then the chances of getting fixed is extremely low. There's still a host of SP bugs that have been in the game since release - I still don't enter the Normandy's cockpit without obsessively saving first cuz half the time you get stuck.
Then again if they ever did put out a SP-centric patch I'm sure it'd be released as a DLC that had to be bought.

I'm just hoping that it gets fixed very soon. I really wish that it wouldn't take months just to fix this bug.

It's odd, playing through it at the moment. Because I can tell exactly when the scenes are supposed to happen, and instead all I get now is a quick twitch out of Shepards face as he reflects on the scenes as if they played out in his head. Shepard's reaction to an absent scene feels really awkward.

Well they fixed the Liara romance bug. So, hopefully they'll get to this sooner than later as well.
Thank goodness they fixed that.

I agree with that. It really messes up these scenes like Aria and Nyreen pivoting around during Aria's speech with the Talons.

agreed. That scene sort of threw me off. But imo it was an otherwise pretty decent dlc. I liked it better than Overlord. But not as much as LotSB and Leviathanphillip100 wrote...

There is also a glitch at the transit hover cars on the Citadel when all DLCs are installed. At Purgatory for example, I can use the transit car to get to the Normandy, but even though I finished Leviathan, I can still scroll down and select the invisible option "Bryson's Lab". When I click on it, I get an endless loading screen.
Basically they only removed the Lab option visually from the options on the transit cars, after finishing Leviathan, but you can still select it. (Note, I only noticed this latest glitch after installing Omega. No clue if it was there before.)
P.S.: I'm on PS3.

That's a weird glitch.

Just finished my 3rd ME3 playthrough today with From Ashes, Extended Cut, Leviathan and Omega installed and this glitch happened to me. All I saw was Shepard's head twitching when the scenes were supposed to play. Maybe Starchild gave him a seizure?

Seems to be PS3 only. Leviathan and Omega installed and after finishing Leviathan all the transit locations for the lab (Docking with Citadel and the places within the Citadel) were cleanly wiped. I clicked all over the panel and couldn't get it to glitch. For PC version anyway. I can't speak for Xbox.

On PS3 when it says "Normandy", I see nothing below it, but when I press down on the d-pad, the lab shows up. Like I said, endless loading follows.

OOI, what was the Liara romance bug?
In any case, call me hopeful, but I do believe that they are in the process of getting this bug fixed. As far as I can tell, there hasn't been a patch since before it got brought up so... fingers crossed?

It's the one where Liara doesn't remember you bringing her back to the Normandy after finishing Lair of the Shadow Broker even if you did if she is your love interest.

I feel like this is something that they changed intentionally, because they felt shepard's premonitions were going abit far. Without them its a better designed ending, though the animation jump is weird.
It wasn't intentional. BioWare is currently aware of this bug and they are still looking into it.
