What level is your character? Who is in your party? Have u tried dirty fighting (and other rogue skills), poison or traps? Stealth can be a handy skill also, especially with more points in it.

You should be atleast level 4ish (I could be wron, been awhile). If you're a Human Noble you're party should have you, Alistair, Mabari Warhound, and random mage. If you're of Dwarf/Dalish backgrounds it should be you, Alistair, random guard, random mage. If you're a mage, it should be you, Alistair, and two random guards. (Yes, I realize you said you were a rogue, dont care.)

As peeker pointed out, stealth can help, dirty fighting is a must. Have Alistair tank (keep him alive with potions and whatnot), have the other guard (or the dog) for back up/helping Alistair in keeping the ogre faced toawrds them. Have the mage way in the back chucking spells at him, while you try to stay behind the ogre. You do more damage that way.
