Hello friends,
This might be too much to ask but it would be great if the skill trees could be able to solve problems through dialogue. What i'm i going on about?  For those who played KOTOR 2 there was a time when you are saving the princess( or is it queen) and you could use battle meditation to make her soldiers fight much better and this was done through a dialogue option. It felt a bit cheap that i was a spirit healer but i could not heal anyone that dies in dialogue or atleast even attempting to. Also i would love to feel that in certain aspects i am better than other players if i chose certain skill trees. Example if there is a rogue class that allows me to be better stealthy and a stealthy mission appears(Mark Of the Assasin) i should be better than a normal person who has not studied the art of stealth.

tl;dr : Skill trees should add more than just combat moves

It would make our skill choices more meaningful to the story- it might be super fun :D

Dude I've said the exact same thing many many times now. I think a lot of other people want this as well. Kinda surprised it hasn't happened by now to be honest.

This idea would be better for all... except the developers and the impatient prospective customers (also those greedy rich types "living" it up in EA).

I think only certain skills/skill trees should be integrated into some stories, otherwise, BioWare might focus TOO much on it. It's not important, it'd just make skill choices more meaningful.

It would have to specialization specific so even if you had the heal spell you couldn't heal those npcs and I can see how in certain events some specializations could use their powers to help out but I can't see how all specializations will have a moment (blood mage, berserker, assassin, etc) and I think it's better if they don't make situations where your spec can be used and then try to make a story. DA2 had some moments where depending on your class you could get an extra choice (mainly it was mage going "look fire hand" but the rogue throwing knife sticks out to me)
