Probably about 7-8/10, 10 being RedJohn/GP etc.

Confident to bring any class to U/U/G, but I don't play platinum without OP classes and lots of consumables.

I'm fairly decent really. I can hold my own on most classes except for the sentinel and adept. In a pinch I can solo most of a gold wave late in the mission on any class I am playing.

I know which character to pick to best compliment the team I'm on and what tactics to use as well.

Not afraid to try out new builds if they might work well for me but I do have my favored builds [and classes] that work best for me.

I know when I can [or should] get close to boss mobs and avoid their attack/sync-kills. Doesnt always work with phantoms and banshees however but then when they ambush you it doesnt matter.

I know enough about the game that ive learned a few things about it that I've passed on to others that I play with a lot and ended up improving their skill level, just as I have learned things from them that's improved mine.

I'm decent in a sense that I end up scoring top2 in my silver games while putting team ahead of my points. I can try different builds and usually make them work. I suck with Infiltrators, so I never use them - but can do well with many classes and races. I revive if I can and help with anything, not afraid to use my consumables either. So, when I play, I do better than ok and 19/20 times we get the extraction..

I'm NOT good in gold, it's just not for me. The few times I've tried it, we all got wiped in wave 6, if lucky. The transition from silver to gold is too much for me. I always thought bronze was pretty tough too when I started, compared to many other games.
I'm not good at soloing, even bronze. Never solo'd succesfully until the end and never will.

So...I'm not bad, but nothing to brag about either.

I think I am a better than average player. my FQI can usually top teh scoreboard on a gold match unless there is a GI around, and my FQE can beat furies on the scoreboard too, and I havent been vanguard glitched with my kroguard before as long as I rock my cyclonic modulator 4. Im terrible at adepts though.

I usually use the best characters with the best builds and the best weapons, so it's hard for me to gauge my skill since I often cheese it. However, I play aggressively and usually top the scoreboard in PUGs on Gold. I'd say my angle and line of sight awareness, risk vs. reward analysis, game knowledge, aiming speed (as good as it can consistently get on the Xbox, anyway), map and spawn knowledge, and general reflexes are pretty good, but far from the top players.

I would say I'm the best Vanguard I've personally seen in Gold matches on XBL, though that's not exactly fair since I play PUGs and always host, eliminating most competition.

I am about average.. maybe a hair above. Although I cannot predict two or three enemies behaivors 30 seconds ahead of time like a chess game. I believe that is the kind of mind required to solo Platinum. Undead Hamiltoe and Illusive man11: You guys are my heroes!

I'm not the best on my friends' list, but I'm certainly well above average, judging by the PUGs with whom I play. My fault is that I pretty much refuse to use anything that's overplayed, because I get bored. I like to equip strange weapon setups to see if they work, while proving that seldom-used classes and characters are, in fact, quite usable.

I'm a total team player. **** the scoreboard. We all know who's carrying his weight and who isn't simply by what's going on in the game.

I'd definitely say I'm well above average, but quite frankly (in my experience on Xbox) that's not saying much. I can't solo Gold with any consistency (though I've only tried a handful of times, playing by myself gets boring quickly so I rarely bother) but I come close with great effort (mainly against Reapers), and Silver I can Solo with relative ease. Platinum is a huge pain and I have trouble doing anything besides camping (especially if I'm running and gunning off by myself, I'm almost guaranteed to go down a lot). With my best builds I can hold my own on Platinum, but I'd say I'm decent/solid at best, definitely not up to carrying if I'm the best person on the team (again, besides camping, which I don't count).

So in other words I'm a great Gold player (albeit not amazing) and a decent/solid Platinum player. I also haven't stopped getting better, though, so I'm as yet a work in progress. My main problem is guaging how aggressive I can get away with being without getting myself killed (and often biting off more than I can chew), my goal being at all times to fight as aggressively as possible without going too far. Like I said I'm still working on it, and I daresay I've shown improvement (and hope to continue doing so).

I usually play drunk now so it's hard to remember even what I did in the match.

I'd say I'm an experienced gold/plat player, the kind of skill any gamer could get simply by playing the game for as long as I have. There are far better players that I can only outscore in a match by fluke or lopsided loadout. Or if I'm better at one particular thing than they are.

I usually play platinum unless i want to test new builds or having fun (rampaging as krogan sentinel or with fellow Legioneers)
I think i am "Average Joe" by all accounts.
I'm not very fond of speedruns, for it kills all the fun for me. I don't stick to cookie cutter builds (explanation: the usual most effective builds by theorycrafters) unless i like that build.
Oh and i love sniper rifles which don't really work with close quarter combat maps and biotics.
I do regular farming runs because sometimes it is good to restock on credits for guns and consumables.

I'm not terrible. With the right character/weapon combos I can pull my weight in a Gold game; and I can make absolutely anything work for me at Silver level (and work well).

On the other hand, if there's more than a half dozen enemies left on gold, and I'm the last man standing, everyone may as well pack up and go home; and I won't even touch Platinum.

I'm good at playing on Silver because I really enjoy playing this game. Eventually I'll start doing Gold regularly once I figure out my new class power builds, but for the most part, I have fun if the team I'm with knows what they're doing and I don't have to do everything. Also, I prefer to fight against Cerberus and occasionally Reapers, but not so much Geth when I play my Silver matches.

Not very good; I can do silver and bronze but haven't even tried soloing bronze. I can complete bronze with just one other player but its a struggle. Hopefully when I get some better weapons I can try gold.

I think the term is "good enough." The gaps in my manifest speak for themselves that I'm not in that Gold++. I'm at the point that as long as I've got another competent PuGer with me we can usually save a gold wave that's gone to pot I don't team play as much, so can't really say there.

There have been a few times I've had to carry Silver on what I consider effectively joke characters and pulled it off. Batarian Sential speced to mostly gun use and 4/4 split on shockwave/net, sniping Asari Vanguard, stuff like that.

It also depends on the class, oh so much the class.

I'm competent but prone to a degree of variability when it comes to what I bring to the table under a given set of circumstances. In order to explain what I mean here, let me first add the proviso that I don't play Gold or Platinum and I make no representations as to how I may or may not fare in such situations. I'm in this game to enjoy myself; not to earn 50 quintillion credits or to max out every Ultra Rare before next Tuesday.

That said, I find that I can be dominant on Silver with my Turian Sentinel. I'm very familiar with that particular character and I find my scoped Tempest to be extremely effective in wracking up points and blowing away the opposition. With other characters, like the Human Engineer or Quarian Male Infiltrator I certainly feel I carry my weight and contribute quite a bit to the outcome of the mission. I don't quite do as much damage with those unit types but they aren't my specialty either. So, generally speaking I feel that in any particular Bronze or Silver match I'm confident I'll do more than enough to get us through to the end.

However, I also find myself prone to gaffes and bouts of bad luck from time to time as well. I can't mention how many times I've died due to being stuck on scenery or being bludgeoned to death by a Cannibal I never saw coming. I've also patented a move whereby I'll routinely fire a rocket that will hit nothing at all, sometimes more than once in a match. And of course lets not forget all those wonderful one-hit executions I've endured, particularly from Banshees that I couldn't run away from fast enough. I doubt I'm unique in these issues, but I never feel good about them when they happen either.

More importantly, I'm abysmally bad with Vanguards, Biotics, Shotguns, Melee Combat and other popular components of the ME3 multiplayer experience. In fact, practice seems to have the opposite effect on me that you might expect. My recent attempts to learn to use the Eviscerator Shotgun resulted in me taking five shots to kill a Geth Trooper, at point blank range. Needless to say I'm not going to be one-shotting any Brutes any time soon.

Ultimately, I can be really good at anything below Gold so long as I'm operating within my, shall we say, known comfort zone. I can excel with the Turian Sentinel, and I have a few other characters that work solidly for my playstyle. I'm simply never going to be one of those Drell Vanguards kicking an Atlas into Oblivion on Platinum while scoring 200,000 points in 15 seconds. I marvel at how effective some of the players on here are - I'm comfortable with just putting in a workman like performance as often as is possible.

With the fury, salengie or any infiltrator I am considered overpowered. And when **** really hits the fan I usually am the last one standing to revive anyone that's left (usually because I don't want to waste my time or consumables). But at the same time as long as the team is kicking ass I don't feel the need to wreck ish.
