When you spec into a Human character, do you use the male or female?

Aesthetics are the last possible consideration for me.  I don't particularly care about which gender I play as in multiplayer, since the aesthetics are the only difference.  I rarely have a need for two of the same character, so I'll just randomly pick the male or the female.  Male is default, though, and female is when I feel like being different.

Female. I am one, and I'm damn happy I can play as one in game.

I build them differently. Like for novaguards, my male is half blast and my female is full blast.
I will generally tend towards playing the female model though, just because it's nicer on the eyes.

female. i'd rather look at a girl than a guy if i had a choice... even if they are fully suited up in armor.

Female. Because, well, I'm a female...

Female: Soldier, Vanguard, Infiltrator, Sentinel
Male: Engineer

Why? I dunno. I've just always picked that way. But I've never bothered using the human adept. I don't care what anyone says. I consider him/her the worst character to pick in the game.

Out of all the classes she/he is capable of the strongest biotic detonations..
And shockwave doesn't suck like it used to.

Yeah, since Warp and Shockwave both have detonation bonuses, a Warp+Shockwave explosion is the most powerful in the game if specced properly.  And he/she is the only one to get that particular combo in MP.  And Singularity serves as an awesome trap, especially if you have the "explode when it expires" evolution.  I got a killstreak with that one time on my Phoenix Adept.  I killed like five Geth hunters and a few rocket troopers with a single Singularity expiration detonation.

I tend to play male chars. I just think they're easier on the eye, and I like their voices (Paladin <3). But my absolute favorite class, the Fury, is female, so i dunno...

btw, i'm female as well

I use them to see what combination of powers is best. Since I'm not very experienced I try one setup (e.g male adept:focus on shockwave and singularity) compared to the other (e.g female adept:focus on warp and singularity) and see what setup is better in different situations.

I'm a dude but I always use females for my serious builds. I love women, what can I say?

Same and not only for Human characters, but for any char  who i play. Just i,m damn sexist and love to see shaking butts on my screen:D.

Human Soldier , Human Engineer , Demolisher , Human Adept,  Human Infiltrator   - females.
Asari Vanguard , Asari Adept , Fury, Female Quarian Infiltrator, Shadow  -   all posible ingame females

Even my Shepard is sexy chick , instead of some scary badass:whistle::D
I consider posting pics on my Shepard in Female Shepard,s thread in character and romance discussion part of the forum. :)

I use both because I have two different power builds for each of them. Saves me a Reset Powers card for something else if I want to do something different for a vanilla human class.

When I see other players who don't have a mic, I'll subconsciously assume they have the same gender as the character they're using (even if it's a character which only appears in one gender), and I think others would do the same for me. Therefore, if I have a choice I'll use male humans first, and create a female character if I want a different build.

Depends on how I feel my character, being a female I usually go for female if all esle is equal, except in 2 cases
1- male nova vanguard - he just feels badass (and female voice screaming was kinda getting to me after some time)
2- male human engineer - i like to look at his . . . behind while playing, keeps morale up (kinda mental note "what we all are fighting for")

Almost always females. Just following my gender. I do have a couple of male humans with different specs for variety. My most survivable class is the female infiltrator.

Always male. I don't even play a character that doesn't have male option. B)

Sometimes I use the female as test subject for my skill-alterations.

Females because they are smaller and I like to pretend the hitboxes are smaller so I can dodge bullets easier ... not true but whatever.

Male for one build.

Female for another build.

But usually spend about twice as much time on the male one.

I'll use them both for different builds. Only really use the soldiers and engineers, but I do find myself always building the females for more aggressive play.

I used to always go with the females first, just to be different I guess, but I've started just using the males mostly now probably because I have the Shadow and Fury that I play a lot now... so male seems to be a nice change post-Earth!

In general it depends on their current builds. If both of them aren't speced yet (a rare case for me as I don't promote except for weekend ops) I choose randomly. Or at least there's no obvious conscious preference.

With one exception: I'm so used to female Novaguards — the sound, actually — that I literally don't use my male Novaguard to play the game. I use him to experiment with builds and for testing purposes only.

I balance it. Gender ratio means nothing to me, and the whole "crossplaying" thing matters less than creating a cool cast of characters, so I just make the first choice on a whim. Engineer, Vanguard, and Sentinel are male, Soldier and Adept female, and Infiltrator both - the female came first due to demo constraints, but the male is, and was always meant to be... well, me. So I guess that makes 4-2, offset by my love of Infiltrators. (Although I haven't rebuilt the Sentinel since Alloy...)

As for Shepard? Male, due to both superior voice acting (kind of has the demeanour of Tyson Rios from Army of Two, a game with stunning realism when it comes to the interaction between the eponymous Two) and romance choices. (Also an Infiltrator :3)

Well considering BioFail didn't just make gender an appearance option I use both so I can have 2 different builds.
