Female. Always female. Slender build.

I usually spec the females first, but if I screw up their builds and don't want to use a respec card I'll switch to the male version instead.

Using two different builds for the Human Soldier, so I specced both.

Build them differently but usually spec my preferred build on the female. Would much rather start at a female than a male any day

They are built differently, but most of the time I'm using the females.

My first mp character I used regularly before the DLC's was the human female infiltrator. I guess I had the same reasons as the OP. I'm a female and prefer playing female characters. I even gave her my own name ;)

Use both genders for different builds, but tend to use female vanguard and soldier. The armor of these two classes are quite bulky and takes away a bit more screen space. The female armor is a bit smaller, so make it easy for me to spot enemies and hip fire. It might sound awkward as I tend not to have any problem with a Krogan, but for soldiers and vanguards I tend to go for females.

Male.

I like their armor more, except the Soldier/Vanguard, that armor looks good on the females. The Adept/Sentinel and Engineer/Infiltrator armors just look better on the male, sturdy looking and all.

Personally I think all of the female ones look better. Especially the Adept/Sentinel. Their smaller figure matches the "caster" concept.

Oh, and I named the HFS after my dog.

I feel the female versions have a smaller hitbox and fit in some cover better so I tend to use them more

I don't use the Human Adepts because Shockwave is bugged on PC and Singularity is awful.

Male Infiltrator: Shotgun, 4/6/6/6/4.

Female Infiltrator: Sniper Rifle 6/0/6/6/6 (Sticky grenades are really powerful out of cloak now and I use my Black Widow with her).

Male Soldier: 6/3/6/5/6: Conc shot just to be different. Power based grenadier.

Female Soldier: 6/0/6/6/6: Typical build.

I don't use Human Sentinels.

Male Vanguard: Recharge speed by 25% on Nova
Female Vanguard: Half blast. If shockwave wasn't bugged, she'd use it.

Male Engineer: 3/6/6/5/6: Tech burst all the things. Incinerate is very good now, imo.

Female Engineer: 6/3/6/5/6: Drone can be fun as a change of pace.

As an aside:

When I unlocked the Black Widow, the Human Infiltrator female became one of my favorites with the change to shield gate.

I don't understand how anybody compares the Black Widow to the Valiant.  Even at 1, the Black Widow is an absolutely incredible gun.

If I ever unlock the damned Saber I'll probably run some of my shotgun builds with that instead.

Like a lot of others, I use both, with different builds. It's like having extra characters. I don't care what shape the pixels are in.

As an ordinary male member of this species, I found that watching posterior of the same sex for at least 15 minute is rather....annoying. I simply prefer female.

Male.

Female only if I want to test another build, but as a promoter that doesn't happen much anymore.

I typically run the male. However, if I want to try out a build I'm not sure about, I'll try it out on the female first.

I'll also use the female for alternate builds (e.g., droneless engineer)

Female. Because I am one. Also, I'm pretty sure Jen Hale does the Femgineer's voice and I like to listen to her.

I will spec the male differently but usually use the female version as my main toon.

Male, because they play the same but I rather see a male "backside".
