And then there was this Cerberus turret I was intending to TC+SS to take it out. In the very moment I hit the button for SS the engineer that deployed the turret stepped in front of it to become the target...

I busted out the missile launcher and took aim. Aimed a little high so to avoid the foreground terrain and fired. It turn to deal with an immediate threat and avoided the missile. Damn it!
I go down the ramp to get a cleaner shot. I aim center mass this time and fired. It turn toward my direction just in time for the missile to pass between its cannon arm and torso.
I was out of missiles and redder than a beet.
Not an "oh, crap" moment but a noob story to laugh at, enjoy.

Two turrets overlooking my position. I'm in good cover, and not too worried; I can take them. Then I see a phantom come around the corner. Eyeing my escape routes, I see another phantom approaching from the other direction.
I consider allowing the phantoms to get in close, then letting them eat missile; so I don't have to break cover while the turrets are still there.
Then a grenade lands at my feet.
This exact same thing happened to me on Goddess...Pinned down by two turrets, see a couple phantoms coming straight at me and my only escape route is to jump down but there's an Atlas right there...
Truly an "ah crap" moment

2. Hearing the bullets fly before you're even in the game. "Oh, here we go. And here's me without tactical cloak."
3. Taking down the Banshee in front of you. "Yeah! Ya like that! Ya want some more? Who wants some?!" Grabbed by the Banshee that snuck up beside you. "I guess you wanted s.."

In general it's when my Fury misses a throw while up close, or when my teammates shoot bullets through/over me to hit an enemy who had sheilds, only to take away the sheilds and leave my Fury's drain ability done for in that moment.
Oh, also when my Paladin has the misfortune of missing an energy drain.

If you have 1+ turrets aiming at you and need to break cover without killing them you're as good as down already .....Schnuez1 wrote...
