I am livid with the quick matching system i lost a few rare consumables because instead of joining a lobby my character was inserted directly into a game in progress of platinum level with one other player a level 1 human. this is completely unacceptable and a unredeemable match. it wouldn't have been an issue but for the fact that all the consumables were lost and most of them were high level.

there needs to be a system in place to prevent players from backfilling into games in progress such a flag is common on most quickmatching systems and in my opinion is a fundamental right especially when dealing with equiptment that is one use only and fairly uncommon. when playing gold and platinum level you are frequently using high level consumables and you rely heavily on the loby to coordinate with other players. the ha ha now your ****ed atitude of the match making system is wrong and frankly denying the player use of items that they worked hard to earn in the first place. so if backfilling will continue than at least have the common curtosy to refund lost consumables due to failed matches

You shouldn't, perhaps, allocate resources before knowing what kind of match you're getting into?

That is flawed logic since sometimes you have powers and items held over from a migration

regardless late backfill is the issue item loss is a side effect
