why do people keep buying this ****?

Denial, misplaced hope,misguided loyalty?

People will buy it, because it comes with 450 war assets, 2 ultra powerful weapons, and a new, never before seen sub machine gun mod. That's what we the fans have been asking for, and Bioware is about to deliver. That, that is why people will buy it.

Edit: I almost forgot, it comes with several new star systems to scan. So, by the end of the dlc, who knows how many war assets you'll have gained. 500? 525? There's only one way to find out people.

SO many impactful decisions, so much plot essential content, and I'm no math whiz but $10 for the DLC of a $20 game seems like a great deal.

damn right it is

Ok, Retake Omega. What new would such a DLC add to the game. Shooting more Cerberus goons? Already have it. Help re-establish Aria's rule on Omega? Who cares, she will bite the dust soon anyway, since I don't accept Bioware's endings and go for Refusal everytime.

So for me this DLC would be a complete waste of time. And not just it. ANY DLC that doesn't improve the main confrontation with Reapers, completely lacking, is just a complete waste of time and money.

With Leviathan they managed to make me hate little less that idiotic starbrat, and I hope they continue to fix things with additional content.

Who gives the **** about Omega when Reapers are ravaging the galaxy. What possibily would convince Shepard to help some power hungry **** in retaking her pathetic cesspool in the face of a total extinction?

Or do you want another plothole?

I gurantee you, there are some people, perhaps even on this thread, that would buy retake Omega even if it had no tactical value whatsoever.  Aria could probably just offer to sleep with their Shepard and that would be a strong enough plot for them.

I liked Petrovsky in the comics.

I'm afraid they'll just say he's becomed indoctrinated and turn him into a boring bossfight.

Definitely my fear too. Won't be getting it if it is a linear shoot Cerberus mooks at Aria's command affair. Give me choices such as whether  to side with Petrovsky and i'll be interested in this side story.

Read the Invasion Comics.

I say that Omega DLC hints at the possibility to fight more Reapers and take a trip past the Omega 4 to face remaining Collectors.

Probably it can be a chance to give us consequences for ME2 choice, thus correcting one of many mistakes.

I can't see why people tend to think that Omega DLC will mean nothing mut new invisible war assets.

I just hope I can choose both members of my squad and not be forced to have anyone in it ala Eden Prime with Liara.
That and Omega to become a hub after the mission/s, maybe a second date and dancing with your LI in afterlife or something.

not exactly. I know that Omega DLC can easily be done in a lazy way - that means you get to shoot Cerberus stormtroopers, get some russian-turned-cybernetic-hulk boss fight (remember the art book and forgotten TIM boss fight idea - I beg the gods it won't ever be used) and get invisible war assets.

But, silly me, I still have faith that:
- in general BioWare's ideas are decent
- they still know that the community is not satisfied (and I think that each next DLC is more community-dependant)
- Omega can be easily utilised to be more about the Reapers than the Cerberus. It can be about the Collector Base, a huge loose ME2 end.

But I guess it takes a little good will and it's hard to find any on the BSN

Retaking omega will probably be 1 floor of action like the added floor to the citadel, very much doubt it will be a HUB again, and for that reason im out and youtubing again as man i really dont need more war assets but im sure people will say the journey is more important than a destination.

I'm definitely interested in Aria/Omega, but the writing team is really gonna need to be on the top of their game. While I enjoyed Leviathan, the VA/dialogue was really uninspiring. They have to do much better...LOTSB better.

If only Aria is going to be a perma squadmate supplemented with squad banters on the Normandy.

..in defense of people who once had good will - its been slowly draining away when these forums were in their beta, or indeed - even before the migration over here begun.

Don't forget the Intoxication Theory.

No fatties in ME. Everyone's bangable.

Seeing as how I doubt a Retake Omega DLC would change the ending, nope. Havent picked up Leviathan, dont plan on picking up any future SP DLC.

Not every.  Kelly Chambers deserves a better ending.

The Omega DLC could possibly be the most epic DLC to come for ME3, so let the support for it start now.

Yes, that is true. It's also meaningless because you can say this about every DLC.

So how should it play out? What do you want to see happen? What would you like Bioware to implement via this DLC? What are your requests?

Don't make it another poorly disguised paid-for ending fix like Leviathan.

Either a real addition to gameplay (not just two pretty shooting galleries and a recycled mech & LotSB sequence) or story I care about. Note: I couldn't care less about Omega.

It probably wont change the endings but it could still be well worth the price of admission.

Again, you can say that about everything. For someone to start a support threat, you sure are uncertain about the potential of the Omega DLC.

1) sex w Aria
2) a way to focus the crucibe's energy do only the reapers die
3) a cool back story/twist about Omega
4) Adjutants and other new enemies
5) A big boss fight
6) visits to other, former hubs like Nos Astra
7) new areas of the Citadel, maybe the tower and ZAKERA WARD!

You could care more about Omega. Because Omega is next to Omega 4 relay. And the whole Cerberus Omega coup involved Reapers past the Omega 4. Which should be the main point of the DLC.

Shooting some goons in Afterlife? Possible teamup with the Patriarch? Yes, please, gimme. But just as a sidedish.
