Wow! A whole lot of really impressive projects this month!
As for my little contribution:

Ankus has been reworked a bit...

Posted Image

And the bagh nakh...

Posted Image

In two versions because I couldn't decide which one would be best. Version 1 has straight blades and can be wielded in either hand. Version 2 has curved blades but is two separate weapons - one main-hand only and the other off-hand only. Both include the optional bichawa blade as middle/bottom model 2.

Rolo I can always take screenies myself and send them to you, it's just I can only put them somewhere and provide a link for people to follow rather than them being displayed here. If people would rather I post a link in here I'll happily oblige.

<the wizard attempts...>

Hey! I can write a tutorial about posting images here :-)
Caveat: a) I'm mostly messing with you Big TR and B) I really am much better reading tutes than writing them :-P

Step one: Open an album or project under the "my content" roll-out to the left. <nope. step one, take a screenie>
Right, so step two... er, three. Blast it bird! Stop that. Close beak.
Step two: Upload image to album or project gallery. Best to edit it to no more than 540px wide and can not be larger than 250kb.
Step three <four>: Grrrrr. Go to image and right-click on it to "Copy image URL".
Step 4: <5> write post and where you want the image to display use square brackets (without the spaces I'm putting in)
[ img ]http://social.bioware.com/uploads_user/2918000/2917482/230003.jpg[ /img ]

But don't stress about it. I know you fellas over in the old country have to tap out your internet on coconuts or something <that's monty python>
Yep. Learned everything I know about Britain from that great documentary series <*face-wings*>

<...a tutorial>

Rolo I tried but it says to click the upload button... I can't see any upload button.

In the mean time here is a link to a mini gallery with the screenies, in my dropbox account.

Thank you Rolo. I'm sure that for most people your tutorial would work. It's probably the same thing that's stopping me from initiating new pm's (whatever it is).

@phenix-rising - Good job!  Those are really nice and I'm not sure if you used custom textures or not but they fit perfectly.  I like 'em all, but I'm most partial to Version 2 of your bagh nakh.  Very nice.

@Tarot Redhandf - Beautiful!  Big enough to make a really useful overland map, among other things.  Now, they look really good as-is but NWN can sometimes downsample images behind your back.  If you ever suspect NWN's doing this and your image doesn't look as good in game as you think it should, just add a TXI file for the texture with the following commands:
downsamplemax 0
downsamplemin 0

There might be some other ways to help preserve the fidelity but those two will usually help from any autocrunching the game might do.  This should definitely help if, when zoomed out a bit, the images start too look muddled.

you can also use the txi command:

mipmap 0

for textures that you dont want to be mipmaped at all. I use this for some vfx textures as an example. Where this makes realy sense imo is for a "wasp swarm" vfx. So you can make it out from a wider distance!

Thank you!  I knew there was something else I was probably leaving out.  Since TGA aren't stored with mipmaps like DDS are, it might be that the mipmap command might apply more to DDS and downsamplemin/max commands might apply more to TGA.

Purely for size reasons all the textures are dds in those maps. With tga's the hak would have been 198mb, with dds it is a mere 48mb. The reason for the size is simply the size of the textures. Each map is made of 12 10m x 10m (in game) square placeables that fit together to form the maps. Each square has its own texture. Each texture is 1024 x 1024 pixels in size. This all goes to mean that this is probably going to be one of the largest (bytewise) ccc's ever :).

@otr Thank you. Actually because the textures are bump-mapped to give the inpression of being made of paper/cloth I haven't had a need for a TXI file. I've used the same technique in all my Map Mats submissions to the vault (shameless plug - link in my sig). My intention with all of them is for use in overland travel schemes, so I was wondering what other things you were refering to? Oh and I just want to double check this, a TXI file is a plain text file that has a number of on/off switch references in it, yes?

@OTR: Thank you! The textures are The Amethyst Dragon's reforged textures (which are awesome!). Version 2 is pretty close to what I had in mind when I started, so I'm happy with how it turned out. Figured I would go ahead and include both though. Call it a two for one sale... (to get into the spirit of this month's challenge!)

;~; I couldn't seem to produce anything last month that I was satisfied with. Well, I'll let pass a single head and tent; it's nowhere near what I was hoping to produce though.

Sent off my animated snake charmer's snake submission and another submission, a table with powdered dyes (a collaboration with Fester Pot).  Half my skeletons came out fine but the other half I have an unexpected problem with the textures so I'm seeing what I can salvage/improvise or if I'll have to cut that second group entirely.

@MilkyNova - Beautiful!
