Some very good games in there, fallouts etc. For me the top two would be:

Planescape Torment
System Shock 2 which was a fantastic game.

Its almost criminal that GoG does not have SS2 and grim fandango. I know why grim fandango is not carried on the site but I dont get why SS2 is not... I will most likely end up buying a used copy off ebay.

System Shocks and Grim Fandango are on the top 3 of "Most voted (this week) wishes in Games" list I hope we get Shocks at least.

More people need to play Soulbringer. Obscure underrated game, though it was bundled with Planescape: Torment at some point.

System Shock 1 and 2 are not on GOG because they're currently in legal limbo. Getting it redistributed would be complicated and potentially, very expensive for the interested party. Some insurance company wants a lot of money for the rights.

Just another case of corporate greed getting in the way of me enjoying a good game. Nothing new here.

Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri is a great scifi strategy game but well obviously it's not an rpg.

The funny thing is many good Strategy games have more rolepaying value than even good RPGs. You can do almost anything as a Mayor, General, Emperor or god. The best you can do in a RPG is to minipulate/persuade the minds of others and kill things.

Finishing up with The Longest Journey right now and probably going to play PS:T first, Grim Fandango second and either Chrono Trigger or FF6 3rd. Hard to decide though since I have heard good things about all these games.

Oh and if you are in andventuring, you must play Full Throttle. Its one of the best of Lucas Arts.

Lost vikings I played when I was very young and I actually have a copy of it coming in the mail which I ordered off ebay earlier this week.
Can't say I know or have heard much about Jagged Alliance 2 but I will look it up. What would you say is the games main selling points?

Depth, great strategy, memorable mercs with quirky personalities.

You might wnatot get 1.13 mod for it if you do get it. Adds even more options.

I recently got all the Jagged Alliance series on a Steam Sale when buying Back in Action. Sadly, the older games don't run correctly at all on my system. Shame, since I really wanted to play JA2.

I got all the Kings quests a while back and I spent tons of time trying to get # 7 to work but I never could fix it unfortunately. So I know how that feels.

I'm not tech literate mostly, but had SS2 for over a decade before I actually gave it a go and it's fantastic, especially with the mods to graphics. Lots of great mods online I have no idea how to use but maybe you will have better luck.

One of the best and biggest mods for SS2 actually contains some of my stuf in it.

SS2 is a great game.

If you're still taking recommendations, I'd like to suggest EarthBound (aka Mother 2), one of my favorite SNES games, although it's probably difficult trying to find a cheap copy to purchase.

You must give Psychonauts a shot. One of the most creative, yet underrated, titles I've ever played from Mr. Schafer.
