I was hoping to get a few opinions as to what the most fun road to take is. So far I have played a Human Warrior who Duel Wields and find it a little boring. I like to use my main character to fight as opposed to a side character. Anyone have any favorite class types? Oh was also wondering how the specializations for the warrior are, as in is Beserker or the Demon one good? And my last question is how come my warrior seems so weak? Does he just need Dex to be stronger or am I missing something? Clearly I am a nub at this game thus far.

Rogue, all the way. I am still figuring out the best way to play a rogue, but I tend to play that type of class in every game i.e., a scout in KotOR, etc.

Mage. Just because out of the three classes there are so many ways to customize a mage. And so many playstyles to chooses from.

What about Morrigan? Would I still carry her with me if I was a mage? Seems like 2 mages would be kinda silly, or is she even as strong as she seems early game?

Depends on what you consider fun.  Mages require the most control and have the greatest effect on combat, so I find them the most fun to play.  Even if my main character isn't a mage I find myself controlling the mage in the party.

Oh was also wondering how the specializations for the warrior are, as in is Beserker or the Demon one good?

I assume you mean Reaver by, "the Demon one."  Berserker gives you a damage bonus which is good for DW and final blow can come in handy.  Reaver is probably better for a sword and shield tank than a DW character, you get an ability that helps you keep aggro and a healing ability.  Champion is easily the best Warrior spec. you actually get some CC abilities and party buffs.  Templar isn't bad either since mages are the toughest opponents, and the Templar specific equipment gives you spell resistance, though the actual Templar abilities aren't all that great.  Apart from Champion though, none of the warrior specializations really stand out.

If your mage you should really need morrigan you can tho. If your a mage i would suggest have a Rouge,Tank and Rouge/Warrior your choice theres really no need for 2 mages sorry for bad grammar

A second mage means double the fun. Three mages? Now were having a party. And the spell combos are fun. I love me some Burning Grease and Storm of the Centuary.

You can, it depends on how you like to play your party.  Having two CC/DPS mages in your party is a little crazy, everything dies before it gets a chance to do damage.  Even in ambushes, you use CC to get your party members out of the way and set a storm of the century and then drop another CC to keep the enemies in the storm.  Then you hex any bosses and spam single target spells against them.  You start to wonder why you have these guys with swords in your party to begin with.

Rogue.  Rogues are very, very, versitle in this game and it's great.  On my second play through I'm playing a mage and I'm finding hard because there are so many spell options.  Rogues are great as both because they could definetly handle themselves in A.I mode, Mages are a little dependent on user control so I wouldn't recommend it if you wanted an independant class. Over all, the Rogue is a very independent and efficient class.

I like warriors because they are a very simple class.  They don't require too much thought, imo.  They can also handle themselve on A.I  mode as well.

Your warrior may be weak because you either may have lost focus as to how you want your warrior to play out or you're not using the skills or attributes correctly.  Do you want you're warrior the primary be the heavy damage dealer, the tank, or support?  I think if you want a damage dealer, you should go with medium armor with a 2 handed weapon.  If you want extra damage you could choose the poison skill tree.  Remember that strength is used for extra damage

Go for mage when you first starting out, get the hang of thing and shelve em away and play your rogue or your war dog and using your main as a healer (which im currently running tehe). I hardly use my Mage any more at lvl 12 because they're like "Ez-Mode" to me. Everything are so easy even on Nightmare. Just spam ice cone or other chain stun skills and the fight is yours. There is no challenge at all, well for me any way hehe.

Either Rogue or a Mage spec'd for just being a healer can be a lot of fun (though it depends on party makeup and difficulty you are playing on).

I had tons of fun with a rogue taking out enemy mages and such. Was also a blast to play a mage spec'd for healing and set the party to aggressive in the tactics then try to keep them all alive.

Even though it's a rather subjective question the mage is the most versatile, the most powerful, the most micro-intensive, and the most game-changing class of the bunch.  Not to mention you're not so limited with abilities as rogues/warriors are due to lyrium potions.  For that reason I think the mage can be considered the "most fun" class.  Rogues are interesting in that they can stealth(and the ranger spec gives you more to play with).  Otherwise they are pretty much the same as warriors.

So I'd say in overall "fun"
Mage >>> Rogue > Warrior. :wizard:

I started out with a rogue and got about three quarters through the game before playing a mage. Playing a rogue can quickly taking down a target with dual weapons can feel pretty badass, but as a mage I can wreak complete and utter destruction. Keeping my party members alive with the spirit healer specialization adds a little more zest. :D

Most fun combat wise: Mage-Arcane Warrior-Blood Mage.

Most fun story wise: Human Noble-whatever-whatever-whatever.

Usually in any game, I like to play the simple class, the hack and slash type, so in this game the warrior. I have yet to really experiment with the different specs of them though. My, I suppose, problem is that I love playing a dual wielding warrior in leather, so I'm basically playing a hunter in WoW. I figured I should just go and make a rogue so that wearing leather armor isnt as absurd, but it was my understanding that rogues weren't great for the up close combat, which is what I would play it as. Though, after reading this, can a rogue be played as a close combat char? Perhaps, a Warrior-Rogue? Is the ranger class like this?

I think rogue is the most fun overall. You'd get to stealth ahead and disarm traps, or get a lead and stand next to an enemy mage before having your party engage. Also an advantage is not having to pass up locked chests and doorways. Usually it's not a ton of stuff inside chests, but having to leave them behind irks me.

Tag... you can have a strong melee fighter with your rogue. The assassin specialization is one way to help with that as you'll move very quickly. Also the evasion string is great as well as some others. Sounds to me like it's a class you'd really enjoy trying out. My rogue is better as an archer but can definitely hold her own in melee too. Try playing around with Zev as you play with your warrior to give a feel for what a rogue can do.

what about archer rogue (with the stamina potion mod, because archer skills suck up way too much stamina)

In my opinion, mages are the most fun and powerful, followed by rogues, followed by warriors.

Then again, no one is more fun and powerful than an Arcane Warrior.
