So I just finished the end of the game, the whole battle of Denerim stuff. The armies I had access to were humans, dwarves, Dalish and magi. However, in the game I also had the impression that I had good standing with the templars (Ser Greigor promised to lend me aid for facing the blight as well) and the tranquil emmisarry in camp said that the templars would be coming to the final battle as well but I didn't have access to any. Likewise, I had Branka preserve sudden, even on the lowest graphic settings.

I've had issues with lag as well, not in the post-coronation scene but definitely during battles with a lot going on, like the general+archdemon fights. Generally I find that lower settings and quitting/restarting the game seems to clear it up for me. I don't know if it will help.. I'm assuming you did stuff like check to see that your computer wasn't running updates or something in the background while this was going on?
I've never preserved the anvil, but I'm pretty sure you're supposed to get golems as part of your summonable army if you did so. Not sure what's going on with that. As for the templars, if you had mages as part of your army, you don't get templars. It's either-or (unfortunately) so unless you kill all the mages you don't get templars. Gregoir promises to give you templars at the beginning of the Circle segment, but if you talk to him after saving Irving he will tell you the templars are too busy watching the mages to help you.

I'm having lag issues as well, even with playing on the default settings. It's on and off for me, both in combat and in walking around. I'm noticing it especially (right now) in Ostagar.
