So the maximum damage before multipliers for the HA heavy melee is 2,500.  If you add a +100% multiplier vs certain defenses (which is also multiplicative when applicable) you get 5,000.

Could well be a hidden bonus for their melee against barriers. It is a biotic melee afterall. If there is a bonus i wonder if other biotic melees get a bonus to barrier damage.

 ya full melee and strength enhacer and melee gun mod and juggernaut shield or martial biotics

I just tried it and he's right it can two shot a Brutes, but I think this may be a bug here's the build I used.

could be... i know you do 0 dmg to a phantom with her bubble up.. if she doesnt though first melee takes her barriers 2nd melee kills her

I wasted 700,000 credits to get a damn respec card.

It didn't even take one bar off that bloated ****.

I'm so gonna have to try this tomorrow just for the lulz ... it might suck completely, you might be trolling us all ... but I'm not bothered, it'll be a laugh if nothing else.

Well, I have seen what a krogan heavy melee can do with everything (powers, consumables, weapon mods) maxed out for melee, might as well try this one, never use shields anyway, thank you for sharing this.

Banshees i never claimed the heavy melee kills her, only her barriers. The heavymelee doesnt do awhole lot to banshees armor life, or atlases armor life. Which confuses me seeing how it wrecks everything else in the game

Thanks for trying it out and getting my back on this one. not sure why this community is so untrusting , and so quick to chop everything down before taking 20 minutes of their time totry something

Well, he's right, it does take four bars off brutes and Banshees. Something that you must try is Singularity + Heavy Melee. That has got to be the funniest thing in the game. It launches them into the heavens :D

Alright I just finished a Reaper/Gold match got to wave 7 and he's right it will two shot Brutes and Ravagers after a Warp, after two shots a Marauder will have 1 bar of health due to the shield-gate and with banshees I never got the chance to see how much it did to her barrier it does take two bars of her armor.

Now that I look at the build it most likely due to Martial Artist, Strength Enhancer 3, and Hydraulic Joints (5).
This may work on all characters or it may be a bug.

It does just around one bar of damage to her barriers.

The martial artist bonus will bring it right around 4 bars on a brute, but nobody said that he was wrond about that part.

Edit: 

Whoops.  Hydraulic joints (gear) actually adds 15% not 30%.  So the damage is actually 2,406.5.  Not a big difference, but worth noting I suppose.  


Actually, melee gear only gives 30% as well.  So the damage is 
500*(1+.95+.75+.3+.15)*1.25=1968.5.

This number is consistent with the one bar of damage to banshee barriers, but to nothing else.  There must be either a gigantic multiplier to defenses, or some sort of bug going on here.  Unexpected behavior has previously been seen in the interaction between warp and incendiary ammo.  Will have to try this out and see.
