I've been saying since the games release that the boards from gears 3 beast which are time based fit way better for me3 than what we have. bioware really dropped the ball with there pointless leaderboards.

hell yeah they did... for the most part im just going to 5000 overall level then stopping... thinking of calling it quits at 4000... like 100 levels away for me... 

theres just no point to promoting anymore...

Best wishes, having played 800+ hours of mulitplayer now, I know what it took to achieve your score.  It seems that most of the early players have moved on now.  GTIAndy quit about a month ago and most of the people I met early on have moved on to other games.  Rocket glitching has definitely affected the game.  I played with a N7 10,000+ that had yet to beat all the maps on platinum and seemed to just now be developing the skills necessary to play any character on any map.  Not much point in having all level X guns without knowing how to use them IMO.

that fault, is on the other providers, sadly..
Dish network wont carry the nfl so they can keep their prices low, same reason they dropped AMC, which only had 2 of the coolest shows the last decade on it, and another that ive never watched but won 4 golden globes or w/e ( mad men)
comcast cable is still stuck in 1995.

 You can get it on ps3 now for 299$ i think...
but youre basically right, until last year it was direct tv exclusive and the reason the other networks wont carry it is because the nfl wants to charge so much for its exclusivity rights ( same with EA) that the other providers won't carry NFL sunday ticket because they would have to raise everyone's  prices even though people pay for it separately.
 i have dish network and it pisses me off to, but a few friends and i pay for a package together and i spend every sunday watching football regardless.

lshunter.tv broadcasts every sports game plaid for free. might not be in English but its free.

Having been in the top 20 leaderboard on PC for a long while, I can relate. There comes a time when it becomes a mere routine. Looking at the leaderboard and how you've lost x-points in relation to the next guy... I once even had a "race" with someone, each day we'd top each other's rank, which was quite exciting (here's to you "restroom", all the best in conquering the leaderboard!) but after a week of practically playing several hours straight (and wasting my holiday this way) I stopped once I realized that. That's when I stopped playing ME3 MP that much overall.

I'm 2nd in Germany right now and I've played regularly with the other two top 3 players and both have stopped playing. Especially once I had unlocked everything the motivation to play took quite a dive (and I know that the other two didn't even have everything unlocked - RNG is a b*tch...) ATM I'm only playing with friends when they ask to fill a spot. I guess I may be playing some more once the next DLC is out, but I don't think it will get back to the amount I used to. I held back on playing other games, even the Renegade ME2 playhtrough I always wanted to make, but now I take the time to do just that.

I figured they'd be doing pretty well with the MP (which is totally ok with me!), but THAT well. Wow.

I think Bioware would definitely benefit in the long run, if they'd invest some of the money into REAL bug fixing.

But then again most of those "managers" usually just look at the next quarter. The stock exchange rhythm has turned the majority into a very shortsighted species.

So they are probably going to bring out more DLCs to get people to buy more PSPs for Microsoft Points. While the amount of people playing MP will continue to decline...


Sorry to see you leave Shadrach/Amaron. But I understand. My friends in the global Top 20 are closely watching the leaderboards on the Xbox (I don't care that much) and some people definitely climbed up way to fast. Even if they'd play fast but regular platinum games 24h a day, they couldn't rank up that fast.
One of those even admitted in a Voice Msg to me that he is missile glitching. I just don't get it. Where is the point in missile glitching? Is it fun to kill everything instantly like a god? Are you after the credits? Then what are you going to do with your Level X Ultra Rare weapons, when all you do and can is missile glitching? You don't need any of the URs for that. Are you proud of your N7 rank? If you only got it by cheating? How can you be proud of climbing a mountain if you took the car to get to the top?

On top of the 1st quarter results, the 4th quarter results of the last financial year even gave specific earnings for mass effect 3, which was over $200 million. Keep in mind, ME was only on sale in March, the 4th quarter of EA spans from January to March, so $200 million in one month is quite the achievement. And these are only retail sales numbers, I'm guessing Multiplayer added quite a bit on top of that, from what I remember the MP packs were a several times in the top selling lists on PSN.
