Just thought everyone would be interested to know that there is enough $ at EA to fix these glitches.....

You're the man! I appreciate people bringing facts to the table instead of just whining or speculating!

I figured they'd be doing pretty well with the MP (which is totally ok with me!), but THAT well. Wow.

I think Bioware would definitely benefit in the long run, if they'd invest some of the money into REAL bug fixing.

But then again most of those "managers" usually just look at the next quarter. The stock exchange rhythm has turned the majority into a very shortsighted species.

So they are probably going to bring out more DLCs to get people to buy more PSPs for Microsoft Points. While the amount of people playing MP will continue to decline...


Sorry to see you leave Shadrach/Amaron. But I understand. My friends in the global Top 20 are closely watching the leaderboards on the Xbox (I don't care that much) and some people definitely climbed up way to fast. Even if they'd play fast but regular platinum games 24h a day, they couldn't rank up that fast.
One of those even admitted in a Voice Msg to me that he is missile glitching. I just don't get it. Where is the point in missile glitching? Is it fun to kill everything instantly like a god? Are you after the credits? Then what are you going to do with your Level X Ultra Rare weapons, when all you do and can is missile glitching? You don't need any of the URs for that. Are you proud of your N7 rank? If you only got it by cheating? How can you be proud of climbing a mountain if you took the car to get to the top?

I hope that in the day if I ever get to create video games myself I can have such a large influx of revenues and make all of my fans happy and keep good games going. hmmm..... maybe I should create games....

Hi Fall3N. I havent had the pleasure of playing with you. Hope to do so in the future. Unfortunately there are quite a few missile glitchers out there. In the past there have been many who were taken off the leaderboards purely for glitching. Lately what happens from what I have heard from my youtube subscribers and from many others that I play with is that now the way to glitch is not to do it yourself but to join a lobby where soemone else is glitching. The person joins that lobby and does lobby hopping until they find another missile glitcher and so forth. It seems this is the way someone can gain fast credits without being considered a missile glitcher and yet still cheat. 

It is unfortunate that people find that they need to cheat in such a fun game. I can say I have never cheated in this game and/or lobby hopped to find cheaters. The few times I have joined random matches and seen missile glitching I have always reported it. Im sure you probably feel the same as it is just ignorant how people would take such cheating measures to outrank anyone or simply cheat the game for more credits etc. I will be off of this game soon also but still plan to hang around a little more as I am doing my best to help people learn how to play the game legitimately and have fun as show in my videos. Wish you the best man. I just noticed yesterday you have climbed quite a bit. Good luck man. Hope we can catch a game sometime.

When I get on mic and tell them how pathetic they are and how ashamed they should be they just leave.

Op: I can understand where you are coming from and while my N7 is in the 1500 range I did/do play with a few higher ranked players on the LB. UltraFarscape01 is one that has left the game as well and even though I miss playing with him I understand his plight as well as yours.

What people forgot sometime is the friendships that can come about while playing games. Over the years I have met some pretty cool people and have continued our friendship outside of the game. However, nothing beats kicking butt and taking names with your battle buddies online while taking about everything under the sun.

While I believe I have not played with you before I can say I hope to see you around on another title but, until then keep your feet dry and your mag loaded.

actually read the op. I know you've played with him but that post reads exactly how it's written: the only way to keep up is become a glitcher. Keep up? Why? All n7 does is show how many times you've promoted, not even how many matches you've played. Its also no indicator of skill. So why is it so important to anyone/him? Sad thing is he looked like a decent player... But you should play for enjoyment not e-peen.

 So the top guy in canada has stopped, the top guy in england has stopped, I'm top in Ireland and I have stopped promoting but still playing for the time being. looks like things are coming to a close for mass effect

I played a few games with TO, yes an excellent player.   He just set goal for himself to be at the top of that board, and if he followed a pattern ( win games, promote, start over again ) it was his gauge of his success at the game.  He had to be a great player to do this, and also put in a lot of time.

Maybe its not a goal you care about, but he did.   His situation kind of remindes me of Baseball home run hitters, guys like Barry Bonds who were great ended up cheating because everyone else was.  Honest guys like Ken Griffy Jr got passed by the chemical-using guys.  I have more respect for Griffy.

No reason to leave. Missile glitchers will get what they deserve in the end. And I'm sure some new DLC will be coming soon. It shouldn't matter who's number one as far as N7 ranking though. Just have fun.

Edit: I mean really.   I played with him and he played great, was very knowageable, giving tips to the other players when asked, and was a friendly player.

Nah, at least the badger is eating to sustain it's life. The same cant be said for forum trolls. They do what they do in a sad attempt to sustain their flagging ego and emotions.
