I will still play from time to time but keeping up with people that rocket glitch to clime the leaderboards is imposible unless i lower myself to there level and glitch myself. My quote about "Waaaaait N7 means something" wasn't a direct attack, if anyone actually perceived it as such.  I was half asleep at the time.

A player is leaving, are we all suppose to wring our hands and wipe our tears?  Players come an go from this game ALL THE TIME.  Usually because bugs have made the game unplayable on our platform of choice.  We don't tout our ego's being bruised as a reason we are leaving, and we don't cite that because others are moving up some meaningless leaderboard as the reason to do so. 

You can play bronze, all day and promote and climb the ranks.   I did that when I first started, and maintained top 1k status for quite some-time.. but that meant NOTHING to me other than a feelgood moment to see I was near the top.. Even closed in on the top 500 for a bit.

Now I sit at 3k give or take a few hundred, why? Because the number does not reflect how I play, who I play with, or what level of difficulty I feel most at ease with enjoying.  All that 3k number means to me, or anyone else in the game is that we can double-tap a button on our keyboards or our controllers and start over from scratch.    It took me exactly three days to max out all my "classes" after promoting all six of my characters.. An for one of those days I wasn't even AT my console but stuck in a foreign country.

Glad to see you're moving on IAMxSHADRACH, but don't expect sympathy because you feel threatened by other peoples play styles.    What speaks to me is people speak positively of their experiences gaming with you, tells me your a good player.   But what also speaks to me is you cite that you feel the leaderboards MEAN something... It tells me your a poor sport, and one of those people who need to be "The best" at something.. Even if its ****ING MEANINGLESS.  

This is a Co-Op game, a game where we play together and help others better themselves at the game.  This isn't the "I've got the biggest E-peen" game.   For that 0/10 for trolling the intarwebz man.

actually read the op. I know you've played with him but that post reads exactly how it's written: the only way to keep up is become a glitcher. Keep up? Why? All n7 does is show how many times you've promoted, not even how many matches you've played. Its also no indicator of skill. So why is it so important to anyone/him? Sad thing is he looked like a decent player... But you should play for enjoyment not e-peen.

Yah......because obviously someone who has played this game that much must not enjoy it.....

sorry man but.... just tired of troll like responses. Maybe it wasn't your intent. I just have such a different experience between BSN posters and the people I meet in me multi. For the most part I meet excellent people in me multi but then here its an entirely different story. If your response was not mean as a troll I'm sorry. Besides we all have our opinions and have a right to say them. All good.

Hey Shad, I saw Fallen's thread and found out that you're retiring. Thanks for all the games when I was active and I hope you have fun when black ops 2 comes out. Oh yeah, I forgot to send you a message about a week and a half ago that I was going to a lot of major events such as PAX and that I'm taking a long break from this game and will be on for the commendation events. Maybe I'll run into you again when they release a multiplayer DLC around October, so I can try out new characters and spend my 10 million credits.

I mean you play regularly with one of the biggest DBs i've come across (yes i know he's on my FL too lol) until he moved onto madden, yet cheaters who might catch you and your meaningless number make you quit? This same thing happened on PS3....guy was number 1 for months and someone cheated their way up to the top and the other guy has pretty much stopped playing

I noticed that too from the Leaderboards; the time it took them to climb and surpass the Global Number 1 was too short. I was also playing with the Number 1 in Canada and he was telling me how difficult it was getting to keep his place since Glitchers are appearing left and right ... sure enough a couple of weeks later he fell down the charts. 

IAMxSHADRACH: It was inevitable that we'd lose you; now the we're moving on to the 4th quarter of the year new games are coming out and more and more players will be transitioning to those games. It's good that you're still planning to play this game from time to time though; we've never played before, but I've heard/seen your name mentioned in the forums; nothing negative from what I remember. .
