Isn't magic nothing more than logic we have yet to comprehend? All things are magical until the science catches up.
Gods, love, fire, space being examples.
Edit: And my bet is OTS is the Batman to Bioware's Bruce Wayne.
Gods = beliefs created by humans no proof on their excistence. Science will surpass Godhood eventually. First we need to create immortality through replacable organs and were halfway there.
Love = A chemical reaction in your brain, a set of electric signals controlling your hormone levels that are all released when you find a partner that catches your eye and fancy.
Fire = Is the rapid oxidation of a material in the exothermic chemical process of combustion, releasing heat, light, and various reaction products. Slower oxidative processes like rusting or digestion are not included by this definition. And I totally didn't copy this from Wikipedia.
Space = is the boundless, three-dimensional extent in which objects and events occur and have relative position and direction. An afterproduct of the Big Bang which after explosion residue can be found still. The Galaxies slowly drifting apart from each other also suggests this as something moving away from eachother must have force behind said movement.
Science is absolute. Logic is absolute. All can be comprehended through theory and philosphy and science will surpass all.
As for a total control sentinel with Dominate, sabotage and Defense matrix sounds quite interesting to me at least.

What else could it be.
I refuse to call the unknown magic! magic is not logical and mostly illusions and tricks of the eye.
